Was harassed by an instructor named Kirby my first month there. Nothing was done about it. I heard this place was ran by another veteran so I thought I would sign up. During the altercation, I remained calm and professional because I had done nothing wrong and was shocked as to why a man would think it was okay to approach two women and scream at the top of his lungs to assert authority. He didn't just scream either he was verbally abusive, demanding an apology and putting me down. It was disgusting and I no longer felt safe. I never thought I'd join a gym in which hires men such as this, a person needs to feel comfortable in ther environment especially women. Not only that but while being there I heard multiple women talking about being stalked or harassed by other members, so I refused to continue and canceled my membership. They will tax on even more money regardless of the 30-day cancelation time frame of a month to month and play NEWS all day as if it isn't stressful enough, having all tv sets playing the news on the candidates and President. Go somewhere else.

Fully prepared to hear "No,"I called World Gym Palm Desert to check if they had Olympic lifting platforms, kilogram plates, and barbells. The response, with complete conviction, "we have everything you could ever imagine for weightlifting." Wow! everything? !!!, color me shocked! Excitedly, I make the 30 minute trek, only to discover that not only do they not have Olympic lifting platforms or kilogram bars and kilo plates, the "fitness expert" I spoke to had zero clue what Olympic lifting even was . So, I show him a video of National level Olympic lifters...bro looks me straight in the eye and in a patronizing tone says , "Ummmm...that's called CrossFit."

Cleanest and nicest gym I've been to out here in the desert. Machines are never crowded and the place never smells which is something I can't say about many of the other gyms here. Ventilation and cooling also works very well.

This review is for Omar and his assistant. I was fortunate enough to have Omar and his assistant for my training sessions . I was so pleased. He was attentive, patient, observant and very helpful. I wasn't sure what I wanted and he helped me to establish a work out routine that really works for me. I love it. His assistant also helped me with additional equipment and focusing on areas of my body I wanted to target. Very encouraging and helpful. Always stressing their availability to help if I had questions. Additionally I experienced a stretching appointment with Omar, Wow! It was fabulous. Thank you guys so much.

I joined World Gym in the beginning of the summer on the recommendation of a friend. They have all the modern equipment that even counts the reps for you, but I especially love the classes. I try to take all the classes I can with Bonnie because she has a terrific personality and makes working out fun. I love the Zumba classes and teachers, also. All the teachers are terrific and make sure everyone is having a good time and learning all the steps. Most important is the friendly inviting atmosphere of the staff, teachers, and members

This gym takes advantage of the elderly unfortunately. Promotes packages for training that they know will not be fulfilled because of ailments and difficulties getting to the gym. They offer no refunds at all and not compassionate. Especially the manager, Brenda. She was extremely disrespectful and difficult to communicate with.

This gym is a complete sweatshop. I've seen Dry Clean shops with better temperatures than this place. The odor of 30+ peoples funk is asphyxiating. I have commented many times about the Jurassic climate and they all tell me something will be done about it. I'm sorry, it's quite apparent they are too cheap to be concerned about member comfort. I'm canceling my membership NOW.

For such a small gym this place has everything you need. Except the pool of Course. Staff are extremely helpful, and Employee Aaron is Amazing with training! The place is clean and the machines are kept up.

I went into this establishment and started looking around to see if I would like to join as I am a member at a different establishment. I ran into somebody who was very rude at world gym and told me that I'd since I did not belong there to get out as I was thinking a membership. His name is Aaron. I would never work out or somebody would treat me so rudely anything ceilings the whole place I let the management know and even other customers were shocked at what a bully this guy thinks he is. I told him he can treat his family like that, but he will not treat me that way. Stay away from this place if you don't like pretentious people and being asked to leave when you were looking at a membership by somebody that just doesn't matter.
