The woman selling Ballarini Modena cookware at Costco said it didn't contain any PFOA's. That was a lie. There's a sticker on the box that says the cookware is basically teflon, which is poison and a forever chemical. The only safe non stick ceramic cookware I know of is "Green Pan" which I ordered today.

Richard displayed excessive rudeness and disrespect during my attempt to return a blender with a defective bolt, which ended up in my drink, leading me to spit it out & almost choke. Regrettably, instead of providing assistance, he asserted it was my problem and directed me to contact SMEG corporate. There was a lack of acknowledgment or apology for the potential harm caused by the defective item they sold.

I'm a very regular customer at WSI forSo many years and many different locations. I'm also shopping for all my kitchen and dinning room needs from El Paseo, Palm Desert store for over four years, many times I left the store because poor customer service, and rude employees, but, last few visits of the store I'm very happy with the service with Sharon, she is very professional and extremely helpful, for all my shopping needs, she checks stocks, make phone calls, find the product I want. And I'm very impressed with her customer service and knowledge of the products, very hard to find a good assistant when we shop around the area. Very grateful.

I ordered two sets of bowls which are beautiful. One as a gift shipped and one for myself. I had them send to the store in Palm Desert where I live to avoid a second shipping cost but surprise! They charged me for shipping to THEIR store. I could just as easily had it shipped to my home but made the drive down and carried the box to my car plus paid for shipping. Pretty abysmal customer service.

I ordered a fireball on line which turned out great but called to return the cover I did not like. The person on the phone set up the return and since I did not have the packaging bring it to a store and they would see the return in the system. The store said they do not accept William Sonoma Home returns. I called the same customer service phone # from the store which was of no help and they explained the first person made an error but nothing they can do. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or have one return my call I was told they do not do this. The in store person was fantastic. Palm Desert store Maura. She called someone and I was able to process the return through the store. Fyi I also bought on line a Cappuccino machine and a rejuvenation sectional as we moved into a new house so gave the corporation some nice business so would expect on line folks to be trained better and better service. I want to thank Maura for going above and beyond. She is in the Palm Desert store and is a treasure. She is a 10 plus. Maura you are a 10 +.

On top of having great quality gifts.... William & Sonoma make's ordering online very simple..... I found a item that I wanted to purchase... but none of the surrounding stores carried it IN store... so I ordered online and had it shipped to a local store for pick up.....the following week they sent me a text..... the item was ready for pick up....when I arrived at the store I showed the text to the staff member .... They brought the product out quickly.......so Easy..... Parking at this location is Not fun...

I love cooking and I can find almost any cooking utensil I need at this store. Their selection of pans and appliances is incredible. Any kind of special pan for cooking they have. And they carry the finest appliances. I was looking for a good waffle iron. They sell All Clad, the Bently of all waffle makers. And they carry your Belgian waffle maker as well as the round waffle iron. And they carry a wide range of dishes and silverware. An incredible store.

I love the items that Williams Sonoma carries but I don't always love their concept of customer service.With a prominent location, El Paseo Drive, this store does most of its business during the peak time of the year which is RIGHT NOW.Its probably a management decision to maximize their profits as much as possible during the high season in Palm Desert... however their customer service to ALL customers of this store (either they shop online or go to the actual store), who happen to live in the coachella valley, as a general rule, goes down quite a lot as a result.Am I making excuses for them? No I am not.I am one of their customers and I shop online first and then I go to the store.Today, I needed an omelette pan for a built in induction cooktop that I just had installed in place of a gas cooktop in my house. I started my cooking journey cooking at home and learning to cook on stoves from Wolf, Thermador, Viking, Bosch, Ge Profile and KitchenAid. So I'm not naive in the world of fine cooking at home. Cooking with gas has always been my preference.As I downsize my life and look for ways to streamline and get rid of cumbersome and unnecessary stuff.. I've sold or given away lots of high end, top notch quality designer cookware, tools and other gourmet stuff. It is no longer a priority to me EXCEPT when it comes to making omelettes.I found the pan I was looking for, actually there were only two options in the store, for a thermo conductive induction stove top skillet/frying pan.This type of cooking is foreign to me and I have a lot to learn. There was a gentleman who helped me, a bit, until another customer came in and this other customer was inquiring about the pizza oven that was nicely displayed in the window facing the street.The pizza oven buyer was very decisive and told the guy who was helping ME.. that he needed one of these RIGHT AWAY because his grandchildren were coming into town for a visit and he wanted to impress them. Well... needless to say, since his purchase was several thousand dollars more... than I was going to spend... the williams sonoma staff member quickly dropped me like a hot potato and I was soon forgotten.I understand that a $5000 purchase will take priority over me buying a $100 pan.... BUT... it still stung.

Today I went to my local Williams-Sonoma here in Palm Springs, and I am someone who has spent an absolute fortune at Williams-Sonoma over my life. I went to the store because I had to return some wonderful gifts that were purchased for me from some dear friends, and they purchased peppermint bark, which I used to love and some cocktail, mixers and cocktail stuff, but I couldn’t have it because I can no longer eat sugar due to some medication I’m taking. When I went in to exchange these items, I figured I can get a store credit and buy some thing I could really use, and I had some other purchases I needed to make. The sales associate was rude to me, and abruptly told me that they do not take back returns on food. I told him this food is unopened. Here’s the receipt it’s original packaging. Everything is brand new why wouldn’t you take back a return from a very good customer? He explained to me they just don’t take food returns back. So today is the official day, I will never ever ever shop at Williams Sonoma again. The reality is that most of the products they sell I can buy elsewhere, and I will buy elsewhere, and I will look elsewhere .Corporations need to get their act together when it comes to customer service and it starts now.

I ordered a mid century platform bed from West Elm July 11th, 2022. It finally arrived today 10/17/22. Unfortunately it arrived with a headboard belonging to a different bed. I have company arriving 11/01/22. I guess they will sleep on the floor. I'm actually not surprised this happened.

Never order I. Store or online they refuse for you to speak with a supervisor because they don’t want it to be recorded. Also cancelling an order that takes 2 months to ship than you cancel they still have your credit card info and will charge. Will not give you a cancel order that order was cancelled so they can charge your card anytime it’s super sketchy and should be illegal what they are doing. Will never shop in person or online.
