So several years ago I wrote a not so flattering review on the lakes. Last year I was contacted by Rick Potts the executive director of marketing for the lakes. He said he wanted to have a chance to change my mind about the club and so invited us to play a round of golf and lunch when we returned this year. So I contacted him when we got down there. He kept putting us off for one reason or another til we finally had to leave. We were there for a month and he always wanted me to get I touch but he couldn't seem to get a time for us. Never said he was sorry or did any kind of follow up. I guess things at the lakes haven't changed. Avoid this place. There are a lot of nice places to play.

The Lakes is my home away from home. I feel super safe within the complex and the staff are fantastic! The views are unreal! It's a warm and welcoming environment with a lot of good times!

Beautiful course. Lovely surroundings and Sunday breakfast on the Club patio was outstanding. Of course, you can't beat the weather in the desert in November.

The reviews don't reflect the new fitness center or the newly remodeled clubhouse completed in the fall of 2021. They really need to be seen to believed! Beautiful grounds like a first class resort. 27 holes of meticulously maintained golf course and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Plus it's just a wonderful place to live with a very friendly and social membership, tons of activities including many tennis and pickle ball courts, bocci ball and over 40 community pools!

The Director may well be one of the nicest individuals I've ever met. Despite Davis Cup Player on his resume, you could tell it was more about the members than some run of the mill tennis pros ego. And this is from someone who wasn't hired for a position I was overqualified for! It your average well groomed Coachella Valley CC, with a few thought out additions... like Paddle Ball!!
