Great presentation, I liked the mattress and then I was quoted $8500 without the bed frame.I thought there was something wrong and I went online. The same item is about 3500.So I will never set foot at this location again.

The first time I went to the Palm Desert Store at 12:38pm , the store was closed for lunch and would be re-opened at 1:45pm ( per the sign taped on the door). I did not have over an hour to wait as it already took me about 40 minutes to drive to the store.I was not going to do business with your company because of the absurd closing for over an hour for lunch but I decided to go back again a couple of days later to look at pillows. I though I saw that you had a buy one get one free sale on the comfort fit pillows i was interested in. The clerk said it was buy one get one 50% off for that comfort fit pillow. I decided I would just buy one of those pillows along with another pillow in that line. I paid full price for both pillows and when I got home i went online and saw that the Comfort Fit pillow indeed was Buy one Get one free so I called the store back and got a recording. The clerk called me back and told be they were not Buy one Get One free and it was Buy one Get one 50% off...... I told him about what I saw online and he referred me to call Customer Service.. Needless to say, I went online and bought 2 more Comfort Fit pillows for the price I has paid in the store and will be returning yet again to your store for a refund. Your hours of operation and your employees lack of knowledge of your promotions has left a very bad experience with me . I am thinking of returning everything I had purchased online and in the store and taking my business elsewhere.

Came to the store to look at pillows before buying and the store was closed for lunch. The sign says back at 1:45pm and it's 12:38pm. I drove 30 minutes to get here. This is the reason why brick and mortar stores are not surviving. This is not customer service!I would stay away from the store unless you have time to waste.

I bought my bed from the retail store in Palm Desert in summer, 2013 so it is less than 10 years old. It is not filling with air and the remote doesn't work. The current remotes do not work with my bed "because it is so old." I have been advised that they don't know when the parts will be available. I just ordered a new mattress that doesn't need an app or a pump.

The Palm Desert Sleep Number store and sales personnel are the most dysfunctional store and salespeople I've ever encountered. We order oa bed and two frames, one for our existing bed and were promised the world. The sales person, Mike said the delivery people would take apart our existing frame and replace with the new one. Additionally, we ordered a new queen bed and frame and told Mike that we had our own headboard. When the delivery arrived we were told that they are not allowed to dissemble any existing beds, that they will get fired if they do. They began to put together the queen bed and its then we learned that Mike never ordered the frame attachment kit. The delivery crew also didn't have the remote that comes with the bed. I called the store to question what was going on only to learn Mike had been fired. I refused order on the other frame. Since then I have had to babysit ED, the manager, since he mades all sorts of promises and doesn't return telephone calls or carry thru with his promises. The billing has been incorrect and he keeps telling me he's handle it and when I ask to see paperwork, he never sends it. After three months I still have not received the remote that I paid for.We love our sleep number mattresses but will never trust this store, or any sleep number store enough to do any more business with them. All I want at this point is a correct bill and my remote control. Beware of purchasing from this store.

Climate360 BEWARE!!!! This bed is junk and at a $13k cost, this is FIRST night after bed delivered. Pictures say it all. Day 1 a $13k bed is broken where I had to sleep on the couch. DO NOT buy SleepNumber since this is their quality. I cancelled a bed through KingKoil at Macy's now regretfully. Returning bed on day 1. Will go with a better brand

Will go with a better brand. Update: This SleepNumber in Palm Desert CA called and wanted to become argumentative about the bed with a followed up text of; 17608363200 Deposited a new message: "Yes. You need to call 804 727185 to start the process to pick up your bed". So obviously not only do they know the problem, but they don't care and are rude. Calling (877) 230-7098 to make a complaint of this store. But still people, BEWARE of bed. Management: this is how your employees treat customers who spend $13k on your store. Good job.

We have mixed emotions about Sleep Number beds. We bought a Sleep Number bed 8 years ago, and we really liked it. We liked it so much, that when we moved and needed a King Size mattress, we went to the Sleep Number store and asked for the same mattress. The salesperson (Aaron Byers) looked up our records, and found that we had purchased an M7 mattress before. So we ordered this same mattress. GUESS WHAT? NOT THE SAME MATTRESS!!! It turns out that the M7 is now 2 inches shorter (the original was 12" tall, and the new one is only 10" tall), AND, it is made out of a different type of foam. Both my wife and I noticed the difference after the first night. Over the course of the next week, we would sleep two nights on the new bed, and then two nights on the old bed. We did this so we could see how much of a difference there was between the two beds. There was no comparison, the new bed was nothing like our original bed. We called Sleep Number and arranged for the return of the bed. Now, they are charging us $249 to pick up the bed! Somewhere in the boilerplate print on the Sales Receipt, it says that the customer is responsible for any charges for the delivery and/or return of the bed. So, we already paid $249 to have the bed delivered, and now we have to pay another $249 to have the bed picked up. BTW, they do not allow the bed to be returned at the store, and there is NO return center anywhere in the State of California, so we can't throw the mattress in the back of the truck and drop it off anywhere. So, after all is said and done, we will have to pay $498 for a bed that is no good to us, since it is totally different than the bed we asked for and ordered. If this wasn't enough, I called Sleep Number (800-472-7185) and spoke to a supervisor, and she told me that it was MY FAULT that I didn't investigate to figure out that the beds were different! And now, here's the kicker. The manager (Ed) at our store here in Palm Desert, CA, told me that there is "no charge to return the bed". The reality is that the Delivery Fee is really a profit center for the Sleep Number company. If they make a guaranteed $498 on each bed that is returned, and $249 on each bed that is not returned, that adds between 5%-10% to their profit on each sale. The real problem here is the fact that the salesperson lied to us and told us that the bed was the same. If they had just told us that it was made of different materials, and was 2" shorter than our original bed, we would not have purchased the mattress. We now know that the sales people at Sleep Number will say ANYTHING to sell a mattress. WARNING: If you purchase a Sleep Number bed, and you don't like it, it is going to cost you a minimum of $498!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

I went with a friend who was interested in purchasing a new bed. He has several problems with back and neck area. They can show you those points that would adjust to alleviate those problem areas, these beds are wonderful! They have several financing options you can choose from and the gentleman who helped us was very helpful and professional all together make this a place you go to first when considering a new bed!!!! And my friend was very happy with his purchase!

Ask for Michael "MIKE" Griffin. By far the best customer service representative, for any company, that I've ever worked with. From contacting the corporate office to coming in on his day off, Mike went out of his way to provide accurate information and make sure you know that your satisfaction is his number 1 priority. This is our second Sleep Number and the investment is well worth it. You won't be sorry!
