“I typically detest malls, outdoor malls included, but this one is an enchanting mixture of elegant open space, great variety of unique and high end stores, and the grounds are sprinkled with amazing places to sit and relax that are especially comfortable. The variety of seating is a big draw for me for taking breaks while shopping, and they are typically located in spots that are great for people watching while somehow being off on your own. The fountains are gorgeous and the space is artistically designed. The stores that I love are too long to list. There is something here for everyone.”
“I like it because it's the rouses open very late till 1:00 in the morning. However the parking lot is just too dark and I just a lot of times I don't feel safe”
“I've seen in the past poor reviews on the food, but we thought as a group that everything we have was delicious. of course the margaritas are good. they're strong and I think that's what people like.I've been all over California. eating Mexican food and Armando's was good.”
“We visit this shopping area because of Islands resturant and Total Wine liquor store. Very good food at Islands and excellent service. Total Wine is fun to visit and stock up on your favorite alcohol needs. Some other nice stores in this area to shop. Also, other eating establishments that people say are pretty good as well. Islands is still our favorite.”
“Classic New York style deli. Sandwiches are not cheap but are huge. Quality of meat excellent. Potato salad delicious. Prepare to wait a bit for a seat at lunch time .”
“A bit difficult to get in and out of. Michael's Crafts, Trader Joe's, a seafood restaurant, Tuesday Morning, and some other retail. Watch out in the parking lot, seems like no one else is paying attention.”
“Never was a fan of Macy's business model, especially after they bought out Robertson-May years ago, but the store is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help. With no other department store in the area, this particular store is a very good option when needed.”
“This street fair runs until about May of each year when it starts getting too hot here in the desert. It's a great place to find jewelry, artwork, unique clothing and lots more. There are food trucks with lots to choose from. Plenty of free parking. Saturday and Sunday only until the end of the season. They do not sell any alcohol here so you'll have to make do with iced tea or water or sodas. Bring a hat for hot days and a large bag to carry your goodies.”
“Lots of people in shopping mode while I was there. Adult, child, and dog friendly environment! Security is an A+. Very mellow for the time being. Benches dispersed throughout and very helpful to the handicapped or even just for in between shopping breaks. Plenty of stores to choose from. Cleaning and maintenance is great. Decor and plants are to my liking. The food court was not that special to my liking, but very well maintained.”
“If you like quality shops to furnish your home or upscale outfits for your special occasions, browse the streets of El Paseo for their unique treasures and enjoy their restaurants as well.”
