This used to be a reliable location but on the last few visits over the last few months it's been very poorly stocked. This company shut down two nearby stores and apparently doesn't care about customer service, product availability or literally anything else at its remaining locations.It's always SO understaffed - had to walk out on today's visit because there were 8 people in line and one person at the register. Skip this and go elsewhere.

This is the worst Rite Aid!! The pharmacy in particular. Your prescription is NEVER ready. I've been having my scrips filled here for a year now and it has never been ready when THEY say. I'll call to refill. It will say "ready by 11:00". I show up at 11:15 - they say "it's not ready it will be about 15-20 min. Ok fine. Another example. They say "ready by 11:00 for pickup" on the refill (telephone) line. I show up at 11:30 - they say "it was ready at 11:00. You'll have to wait". WHAT?! It's always an excuse. They're rude, the gals behind the glass are gossiping in front of customers. So tacky. Lastly - the bathroom. You enter and it's like you're being transported to an Indio Blvd. gas station bathroom. It's surprising because it's in Palm Desert. Who is running things here?!

Great for all medical needs, prescriptions, etc. and an ice-cream cone. They have a good selection of makeup and seasonal items and great markdowns when the season is over.

This happen today at 5:40pm, I don’t know what is the problem with one of the checkers at the check stand. What ever happened to good communication and politeness?? I didn’t realize when I was about to pay he was helping another costumer and when he saw I already put on the counter my five items he just looked at and help the other costumer. Why didn’t he just said.” I’m with a costumer right now but I’ll help you over here after him.” Also, I forgot to sign after the moment I was paying, he points his finger at the check stand and waves his head. Again, why couldn’t hd just said. “Ob you forgot to sign here.” He was also busy chatting with her co-worker, whose lazy as well, cuz she didn’t wanted to come with me and find the spray that I needed after I explained that I check over and over on ailed 3. But, the guy who attend me at checkstand was worst than her!! Why can’t we just communicate and treat each other politely. Im very upset.

I came here at 9:53 and they told me they were closed and she would not let me in the store but that says they're open till 10. I was here for no reason whatsoever obviously other than to get what I needed but they don't want to work until 10 because it's supposed to be open until 10. The ironic thing is I saw her in her car smoking a cigarette and then she walked back into the store then turn around and told me it's closed.

This Rite Aid has the worst pharmacy response. I have made numerous calls and they never answer their phone at all. I am guessing this store has low ratings for a good reason. I certainly would not recommend seniors or for that matter anyone to use this particular Rite Aid pharmacy at all. I have been attempting to get the Updated Covid 19 booster and the Rite Aid pharmacy near me on 111 Hwy doesn't have the Moderna Updated Booster (which is strange since I got all my previous Coviid 19 Moderna vaccinations there) and was told me that I should call the Rite Aid pharmacy on Country Club and Cook as they thought they might have it there. Obviously that doesn't work nor trying to making an appointment online with them there either as it doesn't say which Covid 19 vaccine they have available. I find it very frustrating since I have been a loyal customer of Rite Aid for many, many years now. I realize it is now time to switch to a better run drug store chain.

I picked up a Medication with a price of over $200.00. I asked if they could do better using my GoodRX or any coupons. No they said. I go home and Google Rite Aid prices for my medication and the price shown is $88 for same number of tablets. I go back to the store and they will not help me. They do not care about the customer but about their profit margins. Will try to never set foot in a RiteAid again.

I have always had excellent experiences with the pharmacy staff especially the manager who is extremely helpful.Only wish they had a drive-through because I use a walker & getting into the store is an effort.

Definitely can say this is probably the nicest location we've been to in all of Southern California. Store is clean and in nice area. We stopped for one last Thrifty ice cream pit stop before heading back to Arizona. Service was ok, but only one employee running the ice cream plus the cashiering for the entire store. If one more employee was working the counter it could be a five star experience for sure.
