Do not use this service if you want your repair done on time. I have been waiting since May for them to order an igniter and it is now November. I paid for the parts in advance and have been waiting for them to install them.

I cannot believe this business has been open this long. This company has stood me up twice with no show no call, It's a part time job with Pride Piper! It's your duty to call in every time & email, remind them who you are and what day they scheduled you. Leland, I don't know how he even made it this far in life as a human being. disgraceful of a manager. Not to mentioned He hung up and blocked you when you get upset for holding you up for two months. Dirty company, How? They switch your appointment to customer canceled. From one business to another, Please Folks stay away from this so-called company.

Went to Leland to get help fixing a gas leak. He sent out a tech who diagnosed the problem but who did not do the underground work to fix it . Leland sent me to Steve Schick who came out, diagnosed the issue and through some creative plumbing work, resolved the problem. That in my opinion is stellar service. greatly appreciated!

I can not understand how you do business this way? It's seriously shocking. It would been so easy for you to just communicate. Much easier if your tech actually had showed up after us literally waiting all day. ALL DAY. Both my wife and I work in the customer service industry. We know how hard it is. But the difference must be that we respect our clients time. We respect them enough to communicate. We are aware of what a small valley this is and how important our reputation is in our community. And when people sit in my chair, I refer, recommend and discourage my clients on where to go for dinner, best spas, best household repairs....in fact, my wife is an estate manager who runs several homes in the valley...with fireplaces... but it has become very very clear that you have no "Pride" in your business. And I will make sure my clients are never your clients. That my wife's clients are never your clients. Your complete lack of respect is baffling and I will no longer be communicating with you. I will be on Yelp and google and any other site that I can educate people on your poor business practices. Nice way to end the Year. Bravo.

On time and very efficient. Was able to detect and fix our two patio heaters in less than 5 minutes. Then took the time to test our bbq, searing element and dual burners.

Eric was polite and patient when making the appointment over the phone. He was efficient in appointment making and giving confirmation. True to his word, he showed up on time and went to work! We appreciate that he was honest about what work needed to be done and was true to his estimate. To top it off he offered a generous guarantee. Thank you!

I called during business hours, the phone was picked up within seconds and the service appointment was scheduled within days! Pride Piper is an excellent business for servicing your BBQ grills. Eric, the technician that came to our house, was a true gentleman, was very knowledgeable, and resolved our grill’s issues in a very timely manner. We are very happy with their service and customer service. We are going to need a few parts replaced and will definitely go with Pride Piper again. I would’ve given more stars if I could!

I followed the instructions on their web site and sent a service request to them. I was contacted in 24 hours with some questions. I answered those and gave them my address. They gave me a 3 week time estimate, which was fine. They contacted me a few days later with an appointment date the next week, so I think it was less than 2 weeks for the appointment date. The tech called me to confirm the appointment and showed up on time. He was professional, friendly and got right to work. I assumed the issue with the fireplace was minor, and it took him less than 30 minutes to get the problem resolved. The fireplace works!!The tech gave me some tips on lighting and adjusting the fireplace. He was very professional, well spoken and easy for me to understand because he gave me answers that I could understand.I’ve seen a couple of negative reviews due to long wait times and such, but I only have good things to say about Pride Piper. I would use them again without hesitating.

Edit: didn’t say I didn’t care he was sick, I found it unacceptable that no one reached until I did. We all have better things to do until waiting way passed out scheduled window. And I couldn’t get a reschedule date that same day.No courteous call they couldn’t make the call, phone system says to email and I did 2 hours after my scheduled time frame and they’ll figure out what’s going on. I get a RESCHEDULING email with no new time or useful info. I complain and they just cancel my call and refuse to work with me. Stay away.

Wish I would have checked other Yelp reviews before using this company. They charged for two visits and did not fix fire place. Very disappointed customer. Cannot recommend. Tried to resolve matter in friendly way and was met with very negative and nasty replies.

I have called several shops across the Valley, and nobody is answering the phones because they're too busy. This company (after 2 days) finally called me back and scheduled a call a week or so out - they said they were booked so I believed them. Before the appointment, they called to make sure I was there, which I found odd since I already scheduled the appointment, but it was not an issue and I met with their technician. He basically told me what I had known, but to get to the pilot assembly on the heater was not my forte, so I asked them to do it. He finished the job, it worked, I paid him, done.Last week, I get a call about paying for my invoice, which I had already given a check to the technician. Turns out that they dropped the check and the name of my check did not correspond to my invoice, as they had my name written incorrectly on the service ticket.I am only giving them 4 stars because they did a good job, but I shouldn't have to get a call asking me for payment when I had already tendered the payment to the technician. Besides that, they were hard to get ahold of, but it is a busy time of year, so I don't hold that against them. But only 4 stars.

Our patio heater was acting up, so we called the company we bought it from and they referred us to Pride Piper. A technician came out and diagnosed the problem, he said he was going to order the part and charged us $129 for the initial visit. Weeks went by, we did not hear anything further from them. After we left a couple of messages, they finally called back and scheduled a time to come out and replace the part. My husband cleared his schedule so he could be home for the several-hour window we were given. He spoke twice to the repair person, who said he was running late, but he never showed at all. My husband then spoke to the owner, who said he would track the repairman down and get back to us. Two days later, we still had heard nothing. I left a message asking them to call us, and saying if they did not want to follow through with the repair, I thought they should give us our service charge back. We've heard nothing since, that was weeks ago. An expensive lesson--we should have read the other yelp reviews first. P.S. This is my first negative yelp review. UPDATE TO LELAND'S RESPONSE. Dear Leland, My review was 100% accurate. My husband was here and available for the entire window we were given. He spoke to the technician not once, but TWICE, when he was supposedly on his way. He never showed. Then, he spoke to someone whom I assume was you, who said you would follow up. Crickets from you after that. If you phoned someone, it was not us. Even if you had the wrong number, I did not receive any word back from you after my last call, and you most certainly had my number then. Believe me, we would have welcomed any contact from Pride Piper. In any event, you have basically called numerous other clients on Yelp with the same kind of story liars, so add me to the list. People reading this can make up their own minds. I have never written a bad review on Yelp before, I prefer to commend great service. I typically give others the benefit of the doubt, but you do not deserve that. I stand by every word in this review.

We have an older Lynx bbq that has given us great overall service, but lately, after only 6 years, it seemed like it was not heating correctly. We had another local service come over and tell us (for almost $150) that the grill needed new burners and valves. This seemed reasonable and could have been the reason that the grill was not getting hot any longer. We saw the Pride Piper van across our street and thought that possibly, they could look at our grill while they were there. They agreed (his name is Eric) and quoted us a discounted rate since they were already in our area. We are now very happy clients! It was just a regulator and he diagnosed this in just a few minutes. He fixed it and the grill works as it should. He also said that while the other company was correct and that the burners and valves probably need repairing in the future, they were not the cause of the blocked gas.

Beware. Initial service, a fireplace inspection, was fine once I finally got scheduled. Follow-up is non-existent, with no way to reach a human - calling their number leads to a call tree (if they're open), and every option ends up at voicemail. I've left 2 messages thus far with no reply.
