Travel during peak season and "annual maintenance" is scheduled for the main pool aka Snakebites. Be sure to ask if there will be closures before booking. Now, we're all going to be crammed like sardines in the other pools.

Had a blast with our family at Marriott's Shadow Ridge 1! The place is super relaxed, with beautiful grounds that make you feel like you’re definitely on vacation. They’ve got a bars with snacks, so you’re never too far from a quick bite. The family pool is a hit, especially with the water slide and splash pad – kids and adults will love it. And the golf course looks amazing with all its water features. Plus, it’s pretty convenient being close to shops and restaurants. We even got stuff delivered straight to our room with DoorDash and Instacart, which was super handy. We stayed in the 1700 building, and our room was spot on – had a kitchenette, our own balcony, a big comfy bed, and even a bathtub to soak in.The service here is great too. You can just text them if you need more towels or anything, and they’re quick to help out. They even fixed an issue with our Nintendo Switch not connecting to the TV while we were out and about.Just a heads up, the little store at the front is kinda pricey, and they were out of a lot of breakfast items when we went. Might be better to grab breakfast somewhere else for more options and better prices. But if you need something in a pinch, the store’s got you covered. The kids’ activity center is so cool – lots of fun stuff for kids to do. It’s a great spot for families. Check the schedule daily for activities. All in all, our stay was awesome. The place is laid-back, fun, and the staff is really helpful. Totally recommend it for a family trip or just a getaway.

This was a 5-star experience. The rooms are spacious, have two full bathrooms, two large size bedrooms, a large family room, a full kitchen, and two nice size balconies. The golf course is awesome. Location is close to shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. Less than 8 minutes from the 10 freeway, casinos, and other golf courses.

I expected a full Marriott and this is not. My room was never serviced. There is no breakfast restaurant. While the staff is friendly that does not make up for the lack of services. To add, I am a Bonvoy Platinum member and have stayed all over. For 350 dollars a night, this hotel is a never return.

Excelente place to stay. Friendly staff and clean resort. Beautiful pools and good activities for the guests. The only thing that lacked was a vending machine, wanted a Coke and could not get one.

Stayed in a one bedroom newly renovated unit. Space of the unit was incredible, comfy bed and chairs. All necessary items needed in kitchen and for laundry. Beautiful property but would not stay again.- walls are paper thin and can hear everything on both sides- Floors are not padded, sounded like elephants were staying upstairs- Motion sensor lights were horrible. Come on when you roll in bed and go off while you’re in the shower. Definitely sleep with the door to the shower room door closed.- Bathroom door put on incorrectly which meant someone could lock you in the bathroom.- No hooks to hang any towels in a reasonable distance from the shower, or even in the same room.

We have been to this resort twice now and have enjoyed our stay both times! The staff are very friendly, the food and drinks are great, clean rooms and the views are spectacular. The only downfall is the Snake pool fire pit was broken and the TV has a broken panel so you cannot see all parts of the movie. We enjoyed playing pickleball in the tournaments they scheduled. We will be back!

If it weren’t for Camilo the shuttle driver, this would be zero stars. No room service, no laundry service, some restaurants closed, really tired decor. I didn’t have high expectations since I was just here to read poolside and eat good food but they managed to disappoint. First time trying the Vacation Club but I’ll be happy just staying at regular hotels or the Esmeralda when I want to splurge.

Overall, I was pleased with my choice to stay here. My family had a great time, especially enjoying the warm pool atmosphere. While there was a minor issue with the absence of a water bottle in the room amenities, the exceptional service and clean room alleviated any stress. I would certainly consider returning next winter season.

This is a nice timeshare! It lacks nice restaurants on site but fortunately you can get great restaurants at a JW Marriott about 15 minutes away. One of the biggest problems is that the walls and floors must be very thin! If a family with children is above your room, be prepared for LOTS of annoying noise!!!
