I was informed by urgent care to seek medical attention asap with my pcp and have labs done. I scheduled an appointment for labs through the KP app. After working all day and driving to Palm Desert, I was turned away when I arrived for my scheduled lab appointment. As I left, I called the customer service number and got my angel Gladys on the other end. I had an appointment scheduled for me with Dr. Williams, an order for labs and medication by 7 pm! Gladys definitely made up for the unprofessionalism at the lab, I just feel the receptionist wasn't able to articulate the protocol properly and may require more training. Dr. Williams was absolutely amazing and caring. I'm truly grateful for the Kaiser staff like Gladys, Dr. Williams and the pharmacy department who work with empathy and do their jobs efficiently with their patients' best interest at heart. Gladys was just doing her job, not realizing that she saved me from developing serious complications. I'm forever grateful.

I go to this pharmacy for years, and their service is great .Until today, I was sent to the end of the line by the attendant Sherry ,with a very bad maner and attitude, I feel that if you are not happy with what you do for a living , you should pick a different career.

Just bad, no specialists, difficult to see a primary care and worst of all they keep asking for feedback and nothing changes. Even when contacting member services and complaining, you hear nothing. Alot of money for poor quality. The run around to get services is second to none. Had to call 3 different places and finally able to schedule a colonoscopy. Can't wait to move out of this area and get better care elsewhere.

I am a longtime Kaiser Permanente patient, who is completely satisfied with the treatment and service. I recently went to an out-of-town clinic to receive my annual flu shot. The service was quick and friendly.

This year with Kaiser has been absolute hell and I will not be moving forward with them when I renew my health insurance in December. Appointments are booked months out, no doctors are accepting new patients, I've booked in person appointments only to be called and told that I'm going to have to do it over the phone instead. Today I a had a BIOPSY scheduled for possible skin cancer and was up late with anxiety about it. I lost sleep over this appointment, but I wanted to get it over with and address any issues sooner than later. I got a call at 7:15 THIS MORNING from the appointment center saying it was cancelled. ON THE DAY OF. Barely even FOUR HOURS before the scheduled appointment. I was told since it was for a biopsy they couldn't reschedule it themselves and that the actual doctors office would have to reach out to me to set up a new appointment. I STILL have not received a call from them. This is appalling. I have never been so pissed.

I have been a Kaiser Patient for 27 years mostly in Northern CA. I am appalled at the lack of service Coachella Valley Kaisers. They deny service, they have some surly doctors; and mostly very rude technicians. Really disappointing, and I pray I don't get seriously ill here.

Overall very quick and efficient handling of prescriptions, including the emergency refills due to my own mistakes/mishandling.

We are brand new KP enrollees. Have been having troubles getting RX moved etc. on top of that we are traveling and away from our home plan.Have had lots of calls and confusion. I walked into this Pharmacy location and Nestor welcomed me and said he would do everything he could to find our RX and help us!! He did and was kind, efficient and apologetic for the issues we have been having.Perry checked me out and about 20+ later I walked out with the meds I needed. More than anything, I appreciated the kindness and efforts of Nestor and Perry and the care they took to help me!

I usually use the Palm Springs lab. I was in the area, however, so I went to the Palm Desert lab today for bloodwork. When I arrived, the waiting room was about three quarters full. I went to the receptionist, checked in, was given a number, and I sat down. Since people were already waiting, I didn't expect to be next. I took out my phone to text my husband out in the car that it would be a few minutes. I assumed someone would call my number, but apparently, you are supposed to wait for your number to come up on a counter on the wall, then take yourself back to the nurses station unescorted. The other people must've been waiting for x-rays, because my number came up right away. The receptionist called my first name from across the crowded room. I had to reply loudly "Yes?" since she was some distance away. She called back, "What number do you have?" I yelled back my number, and she called back,"What number is on the wall?" I told her and she said "Can't you see your number has passed"? The conversation continued in this manner until I saw I was being jerked around by a young woman maybe one third my age, who should have been calling me "ma'am" or perhaps "Mrs." and my last name. All she had to do was call my name and tell me it was my turn. Instead, I guess she got her jollies by trying to publically humiliate, bully, and shame me. I eventually went back and got my blood drawn by an obviously bored nurse with chipped dirty looking fingernails. I heard the nurse next to her call out "NUMBER 36", so not sure what the heck the policy is, nor do I care. I PAY KAISER TO PROVIDE ME WITH SERVICE, not the other way around. Yet ANOTHER example of Kaiser's deteriorating quality.

I showed up. My Doctor didn't. Granted I was told that I was called. Maybe I expect too much but when I schedule an appointment Months in advance I expect the Doctor to show up. Or a replacement to see me at least.

I am writing this review on the last week of Dec. 2022. One of the things I've always hated about Kaiser Doctors is their inability/unwillingness to try to diagnose anything that requires effort. One example: For yrs. I suffered with terrible generalized muscle pain and weakness that a Kaiser doc diagnosed as Fibromyalgia. Recently I lost my Statin med. for a few weeks & discovered that the Statin med. is what caused the pain and weakness for all these years. I could go on and on, about my bad experiences with Kaiser but I have to say that they are now worse than ever!! I could kick myself for not switching to another provider when I had the chance because now I'm really sick and I feel like I'm just banging my head against a wall trying to get some help!
