Fun outfits that make you feel special. I get all kinds of compliments when I wear Johnny Was! Love the Yoga & workout outfits, fun to change it up! Great quality and easy to maintain. Unique dresses and style when you want a to stand out. Love the look and definitely recommend!

I have been a loyal patron of Johnny Was for over 20 years. Was so happy when our local store opened years ago and have spent a lot of money there. They use to have such professional, caring, courteous sales people who made you feel appreciated. Now they have people with no personalities that look to you as a nuisance for shopping. I will NOT be shopping at this location. Will stick to online and /or Fashion Island in Newport. My experience was so bad today that I might just stop all together. I am definitely spreading the word to friends, clients and family. Amazing I am already getting similar stories from a few of them as well.

I loved Johnny Was, I was always greeted with a warm welcome when Jackie worked there, she was very helpful and accommodating. Now the environment is cold and all about business. Now you get those patronizing smiles just to get a sale. Johnny Was lost a valuable employee, she was truly an asset to your business, her behavior showed she loved working for Johnny Was, so sorry to see her go.

If I could give zero stars I would. I'm not blonde or blue eyed. I'm Filipino. I own 7 silk kimonos and 4 sets of PJs from this store. All bought online. The sales person that approached me was very snotty and rude. And one of the younger sales person looked me up and down. I may have purchased an item or two but the service turned me off so much I may not even purchase another item from Johnny Was again. Do better. Do not discriminate.

I went to exchange an item that was on sale and at first the assistant manager Citlalli Van Dordt said she couldn't return item because it was a sale, sale. She gave me the number to customer service which I was unable to reach and while waiting on hold she said she would exchange for me which was above and beyond my expectations. I would definitely purchase from the Palm Desert store again and I am impressed with their great customer service. Thanks again Citlali for your kindness.

Highly unfriendly personnel. The lady at the front desk was blond with short hair and large glasses. Made no eye contact and did not even say thank you after we made an expensive purchase. And- in general appeared to be glaring at me and my mom. Has the social skills of a door knob.

Not great quality employees for a store that is of this high quality. I was asking about availability of bathing suit sizes and the lady at the front counter waved her arm at me and said, “ whatever is there is what is available.” Also- generally unfriendly atmosphere; not professional.

I want to update my customer service review. I called corporate customer service for the third problem that I had when my birthday email had somehow disappeared ! When I called to see if they could resend it it got the usual comment sorry, there is nothing we can do. After I had a small hissy fit she said she would try to retrieve it and resend it but no guarantees. Well today, on my birthday it showed up in my email. Finally they made something good happen. Thanks

I love visiting this location! Yesterday I tried on so many beautiful pieces and the team member assisting me was so helpful. She made sure I had the correct sizes and even recommended pieces she thought I would like. The dresses they have for this season are so beautiful! I always have a positive experience shopping here! I highly recommend checking it out!
