Today was my first time in House of Lolo's stores. I have to say I was very pleased with their style. The workers were friendly, polite, and welcoming. I also found a selection of clothes for men which fit me incredibly well. I highly recommend checking them out if you are in El Paseo!

Not a hello or a glance from the saleswoman, who is busier staying on her phone than greeting and advising customers. Not once did she ask if she could help us. It's a real shame that service is non-existent!
We left to spend our money in a more welcoming store.

With a collection of timeless, understated wardrobe essentials beautifully curated in a neutral palette, House of Lolo is easily my favorite store in the desert. It is not that difficult to be romanticized by the beautiful, organic textures of their thoughtfully selected home decor and clothing. Some of my favorite pieces include their linen trousers (I own a pair and am waiting for the weather to get warm enough to wear them again), their minimal satin slip dresses, and chunky knit sweaters. If you haven’t checked out House of Lolo yet, you certainly need to.

Gorgeous merch and wonderful assistance from Briggsy. She was so helpful and patient in my making a decision about the two pair of glasses I bought. It was a busy Sunday too, many customers. I don't understand any of the complaints below, but maybe they weren't assisted by the lovely Briggsy. So personable. I really liked the neutral color palette of all the clothing and home decor in this boutique. Great one of a kind stuff that you won't find elsewhere, not mass produced. I thoroughly enjoyed my browsing and love my purchase. Thank you Briggsy!!!

My husband and I walked down El Paseo on a Sunday night after stores had closed, enjoying looking in the shop windows. We passed House of Lola and I knew I definitely wanted to return when they were open. The store has such beautifully curated items and the it's very much my taste. The next afternoon (Halloween) we returned since the street was pretty much "rolled up" the night before and we were only in town a few days and wanted to see the area. "House of Lola" was one of the places I definitely wanted to check out. When he and I walked in the salesperson (late 20s/early 30s woman with long brown hair) didn't look up from her phone as she stood behind the counter. We said a warm hello and smiled. She simply said, "Hi", no smile, not looking up nor making eye contact. Ok I suppose, but, then never the whole time we were in asked if we needed help, or made any conversation whatsoever. It felt very unfriendly vs. just giving us space. She made no eye contact or said anything other than the smile-less "Hi" in response to our having greeted her, and no goodbye or "Thanks for coming in" when we left. I liked the shop's merchandise a lot but didn't want to spend any money there. Her extreme lack of warmth, attention or care made it a little uncomfortable, and I am not normally affected by other's behavior. What had felt like a shop with a good vibe when we saw it at night, felt cold and standoffish in the light of day.

Chic and beautiful, high quality fabrics, I would wear most of these items and the muted color palette is my style. This review is for the customer service. One sales lady helped me pick out the jeans sizes I needed. Then another women stepped into the store and she dropped me and focused on the new customer. The women behind the desk was twirling her hair (figuratively) and did not even both to help me find the next size up. My husband even said I should try it on, I tried to look for the placement of them but since the first sales lady helped me I went to 2 different stacks and then gave up.

Went in with some female friends today. The girls that work here have zero customer service skills. My friends browsed and not once were they or our small group (4 people total) greeted. This place is stuffy and unwelcoming. Pass.

This is a beautiful store! When you enter, it radiates calm and casual elegance. Everything they carry is of high quality and thoughtfully curated. The clothing, textiles, handbags, shoes and accessories are all in soft neutral colors, many with texture to give them that next level appeal. Think creams, oatmeal, blush, tan, camel, gray, black - it's all so soothing and easy to mix and match to create outfits that are both easy to wear and polished. My favorite item was the handbags! They are displayed in the window and they are the reason I walked in. They didn't disappoint! Designed and made by Oliveve, the leather is scrumptious! I had to look them up online and when their website mentioned they source their leather from Italy and the US, it made sense. There is something about Italian leather that speaks to me! Manufactured outside of NYC, the designs are classic yet unique, and a great addition to anyone's wardrobe. I'm now following them on Instagram. Also loved the pillows and throws! Neutral in color, they had so much texture and pattern they would make an elegant statement in any room while also being functional. The young lady that was working that day, Katelyn I believe, was super helpful and friendly. I like when you can browse at your leisure but have the option of assistance when needed. That is exactly the type of service provided. When looking to enhance your wardrobe, buy a quality handbag or accessorize your home, a stop at the House of Lola should be on your list. Sign up for their emails and they give you a discount on your birthday month.

I had a horrific experience shopping at this store that I'm almost embarrassed to share about. I was in-store today, 11/7, and began browsing. No one offered to assist me. I went through a few racks and only saw sizes XS, S, M, and 0-4. Knowing that some stores keep items in the back, I asked how sizing works and whether they had additional sizes. I am a size 8 (EIGHT), and a L or occasionally an XL. I was told they don't carry XL and only have "some items" in size 8. I asked why, they told me "we sell what is selling, we don't carry what doesn't sell." I asked if they could pull everything they had in my size so I could shop from those items, rather than sort through tons of clothing they didn't have in my size anyway. They pulled two skirts in size 6 and one blouse in a L. The store has a large inventory so that was pathetic. The photo below is me wearing the only items they had that fit me. Twice they showed me cashmere sweatpants and a few loose dresses and said (both times) "we have these in BIG SIZES." When did a size 8 become a "big size?" It was so rude. The weirdest thing is that this brand doesn't even make their own styles - they stock items from other designers like Anine Bing. Anine Bing makes my size, House of Lolo CHOOSES not to sell it. In short, the lack of sizes was shocking and the salesgirls were rude. It was just like in Mean Girls when Regina is shopping for dresses and the rude salesgirl says "I'm sorry, we only carry sizes 1, 3, and 5 - try Sears." Spend your money elsewhere if you want a pleasant day. I marched my size 8 a** right down the street to Bottega Venetta - I guess House of Lolo didn't want my money.
