I went in around two on 5 – 11–24 looking to get a necklace fixed and two spots and one bracelet fixed and have a bracelet link took out that was too big. Davied helped me about 45 minutes and all three was done and it quality was great and he even cleaned them looked like new and the price was great.

$$$$! On the phone the story was watch batteries start at $10. I brought in 5 watches ...the cheapest battery replacement for my 5 watches was $25 and they went up to $35 each for a total of $115 for 5. I said they should give the range of prices when asked instead of quoting only the cheapest possible price. I definitely feel duped, but you can be forewarned and I'll never return. When I told them this at checkout, the guy was indignant, and barely mumbled a thank you.

I was totally disappointed at the service at this place. I took two of my Native American vintage watch cuffs. I wanted to install a turquoise in one of them and a lapis lazuli stone on the other. Both are cabochon cut to be put instead of a watch. My complaint is how unprofessional the guy was in handling my jewelry at the end . He put some jeweler's glue to set each stone on the center in which he manipulated the prongs and he completed the job by getting glue all over the stones and in the silver metal by the edges I just couldn't believed what messy job he left. I told him that I was concerned for the glue to ruined the stones, in which he replied that using a toothpick will clear and take out the glue and that he does this all the time to take the glue off a glass from a watch. I was thinking to myself that these are porous gem stones. He told me that I could start taking the glue off in 24 hours after the stone are set and the glue has dried. I was so excited to have this job done to enjoy my cuffs but instead I feel it was a rip off and an insult to my sense of what is satisfactory professional jewelry repair. There is glue in my stones and it's hard and the toothpick is not doing what he told me it would do and in the process of trying to clean the mess that he left a lot of the patina on my cuff has rubbed off the irony of this is that the name of this shop is "expert repair"

What a friendly and helpful Business, the owner was nice enough to put my vintage watch on his time tester machine, which unfortunately, showed how bad the amplitude and frequency of the movement is. I appreciated the options that were presented, and the prices seemed in line with what was expected.

Had a watch battery changed here for the first time and the person running the shop was extremely kind and professional. They also offer very fair prices as compared to other shops. Look at their offerings; they have lots of nice watches and jewelry on display. Very good experience overall. Check them out!

This is a very wonderful, quirky shop and I hope it lives on for many years. Yesterday I took my very precious vintage platinum wedding ring in for a small repair. Within the hour it was repaired, adjusted to my requirements and cleaned beautifully. All for under $100 + tip. Super happy.
