The rooms need updating especially bathroom. The lighting is very poor
Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants
Walkability: restaurants within walking distance for those that can walk and withstand the heat
Food and drinks: Complimentary breakfast was great. Evening reception was also good.

Did not even get into the hotel. Booked a king bed over a week ago and was informed they gave away all king beds and none were available. Huge hassle to even get a refund through corporate. Save yourself a headache and book elsewhere. I usually try to find the positives in places, but none to be found here. Surprised Hilton associates with this location.

In addition to the leak from the AC that lasted the whole stay and was not fixed after two attempts from the maintenance. The manager Candy was very rude during checkout, she was too focused on what seemed like a gossip conversation and we felt like we were bothering her as customers who needed to checkout. She has absolutely no manners, even when I said thank you and goodbye, I did not get an answer because gossiping with the employee was far more important. I will not return to any Hilton property with an employee like Candy and she should be immediately fired. Some good employees like Lizzy should be promoted to her position because she has excellent manners and cares about customers. She made the check-in experience great and was very professional but sadly the check-out experience is the last interaction and the one you remember the most.

We were just visiting friends who stay there (and they love it).
I do know that they charge you for parking at the hotel. I wouldn't stay there for that reason.
There are plenty of hotels near by who don't charge extra for parking.

It is a shame this hotel has been so neglected. I’m a Hilton diamond member and I stay in Embassy Suites all the time. This used to be a nice one but the service and cleanliness has dropped in a terrible way. I won’t ever returned to this hotel as it is dirty and the people that stays here is a reflection of the quality it currently has.

Disappointed. We have a conference table in the middle of our room? Two lamps are out. Curtains are dirty.Must walk through bathroom area to get to bedroom. Bathroom needs soap.Third floor view looks out to a parking lot in beautiful Palm Desert.Walls need to be scrubbed down and painted! Outside public area looks nice. Just here for one night passing through and thankful not here for a vacation. Not a warm feeling room at all. So sorry that it’s not cleaner but I’m thankful for a room to sleep in.Hoping the breakfast is good. Check in person was not welcoming and chatting on the phone.Im sorry to leave a bad review but this room needs to be scrubbed down. The cost was reasonable but an Embassy Suites should present better than this. Too bad. Won’t return .
Rooms: The walls are dirty. Need to be scrubbed clean and painted. Curtains are dirty. Two lamps are not working. One plug is out. And nothing warm and welcoming about this room. Disappointed. Too bad. Sofa seems very old.
Noteworthy details: In order to get to the bedroom you need to walk through the bathroom “area”. The bathroom feels dirty. The view is of a parking lot

Rooms: Clean enough. Vents grimy. Couch appeared stained.

Good hotel but the reason why we only gave it 4 stars in because there were people playing loud music downstairs but they got kicked out otherwise this was a good hotel
Rooms: Nice but the televisions were blurry on some channels and the room smelled weird for the first 10 minutes but we got used to it
Nearby activities: There is pickleball but we never tried it
Walkability: It is very big hotel but it’s okay for a hotel of this size plus it’s a good workout ?
Food and drinks: McDonald’s near by was bad but that doesn’t change the 4 star rating

Interior of rooms are dated. Couch uncomfortable and bathroom needs an update. Bed very comfortable.
Noteworthy details: There should be an N/A for the last 2 questions.

It's an okay place to stay at Palm desert. They don't do digital check-in and require everybody to come to the lobby... Lobby self is not bad but rooms are a little run down and old. Big rooms which is nice but couch looks old and have no pillows and just little outdated...
Pool what's nice and surprisingly a lot of people were using it even though it was really dirty and did not have to clean. I let my kids play there for a little bit but not for long because there were just debris and bus flowing around everywhere like it has not been cleaned in a while... See pictures
Their staff were great. They are very friendly, nice, professional.

We have stayed at your property many times over the last 30 yrs. Really, we have. It is a nice property and your upgrades are super nice. Only hitch. There was left over soaps from a previous guest in the bathroom (vanity/mirror area) and in there was one in the shower. FYI for your housekeeping. Kind of yuck on that. You have a wonderful property. To us it feels like coming home.
Nearby activities: Close to El Paseo and other restaurants we like.

This is a very old hotel that is pretty beat up and a little musty smelling. Serve lagged a bit at weekend breakfast with no cups anywhere for drinks right in the middle of breakfast, only paper coffee cups. No waffle maker, bummer. Few things in the room were falling apart or needing repair. No access to the tennis courts or pickle ball as it was closed for remodel and some other company took them over as a business so you will likely have to pay now when they open again. It's a pass for the future. Although most better brand Hilton's in Palm Spring/Desert are pretty old and beat up, they are a bit nicer than this hotel.

Went there for the company weekend. Great location, the breakfast was amazing, the pool was great. But the rooms we horrible. Many of my coworkers hated the rooms. Loud hvac, unfinished spackling and paint jobs, dirt carpet.
