Unpleasant and unwilling to assist me with a simple inquiry. Through the lighting manufacturer referral portal, I emailed a request for a height dimension on a specific fixture. I did not ask about pricing, lead times, or anything else - just the height specs. I explained that I am working with an OC interior designer who can inquire on my behalf, but as the homeowner, I was posing the question to know whether the fixture's height would work for me. The communication from Grace was truly unhelpful and laced with poor grammar, however, she was willing to work with me directly "but at full retail price". I didn't even ask about pricing. Even so and after emailing me three times, she refused to provide the height specs. I know and appreciate the 'to the trade only' business model, but Egg & Dart's approach to this end-client ensures that my designer will not call them on my behalf. This dismal review would not have been made except that I received an email a few days ago stating that my contact information has been blocked. Such an unnecessary and unprofessional communication has left a lasting impression.

I wish there were other places in the desert to purchase wallpaper and high end fabrics. They are the worst people to deal with. No follow through, and getting samples are next to impossible.

Great location, wonderful service, lots to choose from, the only design showroom in the desert. Love shopping there. Highly recommend this place for all your design needs.

Hours are not updated. They close at 3:00 After getting my upholsterers quote, I drove to Egg & Dart. I needed 20 yards of one fabric. I arrived at 2:10. I saw customers inside but the door was locked and no one answered my knocking. In 116° heat I fumbled for my phone to call. I was told I need to make an appointment. And they're serving "only designers. ". Been one for 40+ years but never been treated so rudely.

The worst ever. Expensive, and the so called designer had no interest in the project. The sketches were not accurate, appliances did not fit and after renovating several homes, it was THE WORST experience ever.

An expensive so-called designer who did not know how to measure anything. Cabinets had to be cut down, appliances did not fit. He DID NOT listen when I told him I did not want carpet which was ruined in 3 months. He was also incredibly uninterested in the project which was a disaster at every turn.

Egg and Dart is a welcome surprise for designers here in the Coachella Valley! They were a wonderful resource for me in Denver for fabrics, trims, wall coverings and accessories. It goes without saying, they stand head and shoulders above many businesses in this area. The showroom is staffed with knowledgeable, capable and friendly people who understand design and have a thorough knowledge of their product lines and of the industry. I could not be happier they're here!

Amazing! Great customer service, friendly staff with so many options of fabrics, wall coverings, furnishings, and the list goes on. Looks small on the outside but huge inside. Great to have a design center in the desert.
