After a 7 hour drive, we arrived around 9 pm to a locked gate. After contacting an answering service, we were able to enter only to find out the front desk was closed. I called the answering service again and they said that there’s a storage box with our keycard. We were given the wrong code twice. After waiting 45 minutes someone finally showed up who also didn’t know the code. He managed to gain access to our keycards. This was the worst check in experience and my wife and I will never stay there again. I spoke with the front desk the next morning and she stated that the manager would reach out to me but he didn’t. They don’t care about their customers even when I was being charged $700/night to stay there.

The only downside was the aging furniture. Everything was excellent, the staff was perfect. Very well kept grounds and pool/hot tub. I'd stay again.

Couldn't check in even after confirming reservation over the phone with someone. They couldn't find my reservation and hung up on me a few times (they have a gate with a phone to gain access). Had to sleep in my car and couldn't get help until the next day when their manager was in. Even tried to say it was my fault for making the reservation so late that it didn't show up in their list. The most incompetant place I've ever experienced. No comment in the actual place as I didn't end up staying.

Very good for what we paid! Would recommend if you were in a pinch and/or on a budget. We traded some of our Welk Platinum points to stay here during the Christmas holiday (2023). It was not to the level of the Welk properties we have visited. But, it was quiet, clean, and comfortable. We traded at pennies on the dollar, so it was a good value.

Beautiful resort in a great location. Great pools and hot tubs. Excellent service and trip and restaurant recommendations. The rooms could use an update but were very spacious and spotlessly clean and fully equipped.Safety: Very safe, gated property.

This place is amazing! Came in for our honeymoon and really enjoying the entire experience at the resort. There is a pool and hot tub available, as well as a gym for the recreational weight lifter (but no dumbbells). Tennis courts and pickle ball courts too! The unit we stayed in was immaculate and well designed, having a pleasing atmosphere for the times we just hung out. Fully functioning kitchen and 2 br 2 bath which would be great for lather parties as well.

Very dated room. 2 star at best. The whole Trading places (desert breezes) organization is a scam and a sad example of greedy humans taking advantage of others.

Desert Breezes Resort is a wonderful place to relax from the stresses of life in its beautiful Palm Desert setting; a large water feature, a pond with waterlilies and ducks and a fountain - we are in Paradise. Accommodations are arranged around the beautiful grounds with several private jacuzzis, artfully hidden behind hedges, and a large swimming pool and central jacuzzi. There is usually a movie night or other program each week and on Fridays, they sometimes offer wine and cheese around a fire. Wonderful! Today I want to give a shout out to the excellent facilities management as experienced this morning when I had a stuck garbage disposal and Alvin came to my rescue and quickly restored it to functioning. When I arrived, Chico helped with getting my sliding glass door unlocked. Alfred, Broddy and Jesus were all helpful with a washer malfunction on another day. Also excellent, Erica, who cleans the common areas around the units and brought me an extra sheet when I needed one. You will find a stay at Desert Breezes relaxing and stress free due to the attentive staff. Fernanda, Jocelyn and especially Erica at the front desk were all great and made me feel well taken care of. Thank you, Desert Breezes, for all of your great staff and my wonderful stay at your resort!

We stayed here to attend a rock festival at Empire Polo Club in Indio. It was the cheapest we could find, and didn't know what to expect, but didn't care as it was about 7 miles from the venue. However we were pleasantly surprised. It was a timeshare condo, gated community. It did what we needed, had a place to stay that was clean and secure. We were only a 15 min drive to the festival: lots of local places to shop such as Trader Joe's, stater brothers etc.
