Dale repaired and tuned up two rings for me. They look so beautiful now that I didn't realize how beat up they were to start. Dale was friendly and professional. I liked that he showed me under a microscope what he recommended and why. I felt like I understood the issues and what he would be able to do.

I went to into D Bierfeldt Jewelers after searching for a local jeweler who was knowledgeable in custom repair of fine jewelry. I have a beautiful custom ring that is a larger size to fit over my arthritis knuckle yet was too big at the base of my finger allowing it to spin around constantly. The result was not only uncomfortable but ended up scratching the surface on all sides. Dale brainstormed with me about possible scenarios. He was knowledgeable and very specific as to what he thought would solve my problem. The work is done on site and ready in a matter of days. The ring fits beautifully. It slides over the knuckle yet holds it securely at the base of my finger preventing that irritating spin. He polished it beautifully restoring it to its new condition and taking away the previous scratches. I would highly recommend them.

I took Dale my father’s wedding band (yellow gold) and one of my mother’s (now deceased) ring wraps (white gold/diamonds), both having little monetary value but tremendous sentimental value to me. He created what I think is the most beautiful collaboration of the two. I don’t usually wear jewelry, but I never plan to take this ring off. Thanks Dale for listening and understanding the emotional part of my request, not to mention the expert craftsmanship and very affordable cost.

Amazing work! I have a 3 carat solitaire wedding ring with countless diamonds all around it. I brought it in just to have it serviced for safety sake, and when he put it under the camera and showed me a close what it needed and why I was blown away. I was probably months if not weeks, maybe even days away from losing my sister. Just take your ring in and have it checked! He did a beautiful job repairing it. He fixed 48 prongs and my Centerstone and re-rhodium plated it and it looks as beautiful as the day, my husband and put it on my finger. Highly recommend!

Dale repurposed find jewelry that I had inherited into two sets of earrings. The emerald earrings are made from one ring. The diamond earrings are art deco inspired. Dale did a beautiful job. I love them

Dale took my 30 plus year old marriage band and returned it to me in better condition than when we first had our bands made. He refurbished the diamond settings completely. The gold looks as if it is brand new. The ring, the diamonds, sparkle. I cannot thank Dale enough for bringing back to life this very special possession.

I first went to Dale to have some links taken out of my watch. He did it immediately and I was in and out in 10 minutes. His price was very reasonable as well. I had some loose stones that I wanted set into rings. He was very helpful in finding a setting that would work. The ring turned out great. I would highly recommend Bierfeldt Jewelers for all your jewelry needs. Dale is very knowledgeable and does great work at a very reasonable cost.

I found Dale's new store in Palm Desert by happenstance. It is near the salon where I get my hair cut...and close to Homegoods, Nordstrom Rack and Whole Foods. I decided to go inside and ask about getting some of my antique jewelry fixed so that I can actually wear it, not just leave it in the safe. Dale explained what he could do, how much it would cost, and so the following week I went in with several rings and earrings to be re-invented and fixed up. I am so thrilled and happy with the results. He took diamonds from my grandmothers ring, and made a new ring for me, as well as a new pendant from a ring. Some gorgeous pearl earrings, that had really uncomfortable clips/clasps he fixed by making posts for pierced ears, and they are light as a feather and beautiful. He resized my grandfathers wedding ring for my husband, and he also polished all the jewelry, so it looks brand new. I plan on bringing more items for him to fix. If you need any type of jewelry repair or renewal, he is the jeweler for you. He spent a lot of time with me when I first came in, answering questions because I wanted to know how much the cost would be, and when I actually brought the jewelry in, he spent even more time helping me decide how to "re-invent" the jewelry I had inherited from my grandparents and mother. It also took less than one week to get all my items back. One last thing-I notice all the previous reviews are from Colorado. In talking with Dale he says he recently moved here from Colorado, in case you may be confused with the different locations.

Dale designed my engagement ring and it came out absolutely gorgeous! He listened to what we wanted and came out exactly how we described it to him.....Beautiful!! Wouldn't go to any other jeweler since we found him.

I got two rings sized up and the turnaround was super fast! My rings are literally seamless, you cant tell I got them sized at all. Dale is awesome. He made sure I selected the right size (I didn't take into consideration finger swelling in the summer) and was super patient and friendly. I've had experience in the past with judgy/ snobby jewelers who are rude about my morganite ring (because it's not a diamond) but he didn't even mention it, and got it shined up like brand new! I will absolutely be back if I need more work done.
