I have lived at nearby Sun City Palm Desert for six months. I'm a long-time Chase customer with multiple bank and investment accounts. Twice I've had banking questions but was told "only the manager" can answer but the manager was never in and didn't call me when I left my business card. So I went online after being told by phone support that I could book a meeting with branch management via their online system - which gives an apologetic "we're broken" message when attempted. I sure hate to switch banks but this branch is sadly broken.

I needed to open a business account and tried calling all morning to make an appointment, but nobody answered. I guess they were very busy. I decided to go to this bank just to make my deposit in another account. I walked in at 3:30 pm, and to my surprise, nobody was there. I was their only client. Before making my deposit, I asked the lady at the first desk to tell me what documents I needed to bring in to open a business account. She didn't know and referred me to someone else who didn't know either. In total, I asked all four people, including the manager who claimed to be very busy, nobody could answer a simple question. The manager even told me to go to another Chase bank in Indio. So, I told him no thank you and that I would take my business elsewhere. In conclusion, if I could give them 0 stars, I would. This bank should start all over again by training their employees to know at least what is needed to open a business account and teach them the meaning of customer service, as they have no idea of its meaning, or close down nobody should go there to feel mistreated and disrespected.

I hate writing bad reviews but every time I try to get help from this branch I leave feeling like me or my business is not important. Less than a number to them.

I was originally a Wash Mutual customer for many years and found the Chase change a little off putting at first. Thanks to the friendly and competent help from personal bankers and manager at the new Stater Bros market location I have become a big fan. There have been several instances where my wife and I could not get responsive customer service from the 800 line. We learned that if you go in person, the staff there will personally assist you and correct any problems. They are a true advocate of their customers!
