My husband and I operate a real estate business with many different layers which can make bookkeeping and accounting a nightmare if not done correctly or not done correctly by the right person. Incompetence and unprofessionalism are taken to a new level. Despite having an appointment in early February to prepare my taxes, they had to file an extension. Even though they had not completed my taxes, they sent me a bill and charged late fees although my taxes had yet to be filed. I called several times and sent several messages, none of which I received a response. When I made an appointment, they did not honor the time and when I finally reached a human, I was not connected to my CPA but with an assistant who could not answer my question. And, of course, they never got back to me with an answer to my question.Unprofessional and incompetent accountants and tax advisors are a dime a dozen. Find another firm.

My husband and I have had careers totalling one-half-century-plus on Wall Street--respectively in M&A and trading--and have worked with most of the big-name accounting firms in the United States and internationally. Having moved West from New York several years ago, we now work with Kelli Cox and her team on substantially all of our personal, corporate, LLC, and 501(c)(3) returns; our son also works with Kelli on his own personal returns.
