I've been shopping for my dog and cats food here since the day they opened in Palm Desert. I've experienced both great and satisfactory customer service. At one point there was a reward program offered to me where I would receive a free bag of dog/ cat food after my 14th purchase of the same Fromm brand food. At one point I did receive a bag of free food, but that happened once within over 6 years.After a period of time I asked a sales associate about my rewards total and I was told I was only a couple bags away from a free bag of food. I was puzzled knowing I was well over my 14 bag purchasing requirement, but I didn't argue and blindly trusted Bones-n-Scones to be honest and keep track of their loyal customers purchases. On another occasion which would have been the day I should have received my free bag of food, I was told I still hadn't totaled the 14th bag of food limit and I needed to keep track of my purchases. What????! I was floored, irritated, purchased both my cat and dog food, then left. Because my pets only eat Fromm and due to Bones-n-Scones being the only pet food store in the Coachella Valley who carries it, I had no other option but to continue shopping here. So once again, I go to Bones-n-Scones to buy my pets food and while talking with the sales associate before purchasing my pets food, I expressed my confusion and concern as to why I hadn't been honored a free bag of either one of my pets food yet knowing I was well over purchasing 14 bags of each. I was then told they "changed their reward program to a points program" and they "didn't have me in the system". Disappointed and heated is an understatement as to how I felt. The sales associate just said, "I'm sorry!". But "I'm sorry" doesn't cut it after a loyal customer has spent thousands of dollars over more than a 6 year period of purchasing cat & dog food, treats and other items. I will never shop here again and would rather pay shipping costs for my pets food. Unbelievable and Unacceptable!!!!!!

We use to shop there for both of our dogs food. One of our dog developed diarrhea over from the food. The other dog we purchased the soft slightly cooked food for. She developed severe pancreatic and had to see the vet twice and be on medications for weeks. Our vet told us that the so called holistic, grain free, freshly cooked food can be very bad for your pet. Please check with your vet before you purchase any food that is slightly cooked. Most of the employees at the store are not trained at all.

Unfortunately prices are not reasonable paying $45 for a bag of frozen small batch elsewhere and here they are charging $58 will not be going back.
