We used to love this place, but had a bad experience where a groomer actually clipped the end of our Yorkie’s ear off then tried to arrange the fur so it wouldn’t show. She said she “nicked” it. This was 2 years ago and we’ve never been back. Had another bad experience where their groomer was late for work and they rescheduled us, then when we showed up at the new time they tried to say we were late. Sorry. Bad consumer service and care.

We boarded our Maltese here in the past and no issues. He is 12 years old now and they informed us that they will not board him any longer as he is a "senior dog"'. This is an amazingly myopic and mean spirited policy that does not take into account the varying aging process for different breeds, not to mention large versus small breeds and the health of the dog itself. Given what they charge, this is kind of obnoxious and arrogant.

I feel very safe leaving my 2 / 4 legged family members here. The staff is always very welcoming and are super caring and friendly.

Unfortunately as new clients we have had two serious safety issues with our dogs while in the care of Barkingham, within three weeks. Each time we ended up at the veterinarian. Both Lori the owner and Ashley the manager have handled our concerns without accountability, or apology. There is also no confidence in any protocol changes to ensure the safety of our dogs not ingesting foreign objects. Both Lori and Ashley also seem very unconcerned with losing us as clients or how our dogs health is after the most recent incident. When we reached out to have a phone conversation, no one has done anything to attempt to have a discussion. We would not recommend Barkingham day/night care, as they are clearly lacking trained staff. Both Lori and Ashley lack compassion and professionalism on how to manage upset/concerned clients after two serious and separate safety issues.

Every time I’m in the desert I bring my little baby pup to barkingham for daycare and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. My dog has the BEST time evidenced by the fact that she squeaks and wags her tail every time we get here and can’t wait to see her friends at the front desk. The prices for daycare feel fair and they clearly — in my opinion — take care of the animals they see here. I’ve been coming here for over 3 years now and don’t plan to stop anytime soon.

This place has become nothing but a money gauging establishment! I have always taken great care of my dogs & now they want me to commit every 2 weeks or they won't groom them! What audacity! They charged me $200 2 weeks ago for my Shis Tzu's that were in good shape! Today, They are thieves! Beware!
