This is an updated review. Linda gives a good haircut but I won't be returning as I think she is not professional 1) I was tired of listening to Linda's political views and conspiracy theories.2) I got a call and was told Linda was running late-no problem- but when I got there Linda's customer thanked her for "squeezing her in". I didn't appreciate having my appointment delayed so that another client could be accommodated.

Linda was great! Fit me in for a cut and blow dry. I'm not good at describing hair styles but Linda patiently listened and went to work. Finished cut was just what I wanted. Thanks Linda!

Great salon! Nice atmosphere and great services. Theresa, the owner, always listens and makes sure that you’re satisfied. She had a mind meld with me and she makes me feel beautiful! Cheri does a great mani/pedi with a relaxing spa chair and massage.

My intelligence was insulted by the maga hairdresser Linda. I walked out with wet hair. She started spewing maga lies and said I was a liar. If you hate our country, you should keep it to yourself. Better yet do better research. I'll never recommend this place. The owner may be great. But the other gal, intolerable and ignorant.

Teresa is AMAZING! My hair comes with a very distinct challenge that has affected the out come of my hair cuts since childhood. Only three people, in my 49 years of paying for hair cuts, have mastered the ability to make my cut look Marvelous! Teresa does a Great job. She also makes the time in her chair, fun and quick. Her salon is always busy with so many clients and though she is that busy, anytime I recommend someone to her she finds a way to see them right away. She has been taking care of my hair for several years. Highly recommend her. Her prices are very reasonable. Give her a call today.

I have a very hard time going somewhere new for my haircuts, I stick with stylists for dozens of years! But... since the pandemic I've had to pivot a couple of times. We were out in the desert for a month, my hair had grown-out and was impossible. I started perusing local salons and read the reviews about Accent On Hair. I have short hair and with the few pix and reviews I got a good feeling. I called, made an appointment for the very next day. Theresa, the owner, scheduled extra time to consult with me since I was new. I felt like I'd known her for years! She cuts carefully but with confidence and skill, and I left VERY happy. It is a couple of weeks later and it is growing in well. The only problem is that now I'm going to have to drive out from L.A. everytime I need it cut! Her prices are also very reasonable, the salon is comfortable, and this is an easy 5 stars! See you in a month or so Theresa!!

In recent years, I have been wintering in Palm Desert. When my favorite stylist went out of business due to Covid 19, I was on the hunt for a new one. I am done dealing with the parking, crowds and inflated prices of the shops and services on El Paseo so I googled for salons off the beaten path. Out of the blue, I booked an appointment at ACCENT ON HAIR with their stylist LINDA SHEAR. It was a great experience from start to finish. Parking is a breeze. The salon is clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is cheerful and friendly. I immediately felt comfortable with LINDA SHEAR and confident in her abilities. So I asked her to use her own judgement on how to take some weight out of my heavy, shapeless, shoulder-length hair and to give it some style. The result was one of the very best cuts I have ever had. She gave my hair lift, body and movement. It looked and felt great. Plus, the layers she cut fell into all the right places when I did my usual routine of just letting it air dry after a shower. I loved it. So I booked LINDA for highlights. My hair is blonde and starting to gray. I asked for very fine, very pale highlights all over, top to bottom. I have been getting highlights for many years and am almost always satisfied with the results. But LINDA took it to a whole new level and gave me the best highlights I have ever had. It took a long time because my hair is very thick and she pulled such fine strands but the result was hair that looked like it was lit from within. It shimmered. So I have been a steady customer ever since. I love how user-friendly the salon is and the welcoming atmosphere and I especially love how personable, fun and talented LINDA SHEAR is. I'm a fan!

I have difficult hair: corse, curly, cowlicks. I needed a cut and looked to Yelp for direction. I chose Accent on Hair because the woman in the photo was a mature person without lacework or weird hair extensions. Theresa, the owner, is a magician. She gave me a great cut. My husband was so impressed, he went to her as well. There is a great mani/pedi professional in the shop: Cheri. I had a pedicure, one of the best I've experience. It included a reflexology treatment. Me feet felt so much better and my husband made an appointment. The two of us had three reflexology appoints with great effect. I highly recommend Theresa and Cheri.

This was my first visit to Accent on Hair. 5-star all the way -- highly recommended! Teresa, the owner of the salon, cut my hair. She is charming, so nice, very talented with hair, and listens carefully to what you want. Teresa did a great job cutting the long, overgrown mop on my head. Her prices are very reasonable, and the salon is conveniently-located on 111 in Palm Desert. Awesome experience!
