We fell in love with Condor’s Nest after a fantastic showing with Dave on June first and were set on booking. We got in touch with Mel, picked a date and got a first proposal. Since the pricing was higher than what we expected from the numbers published on their website and their policy is rather unique compared to other venues (no cash back if less people attend than in your initial agreement but high costs for additional guests of 290USD per guest) we had a couple of questions. We had a good phone call on June 7th with Mel and she reassured us she would not give away our date without prior notice and send us information on their pricing for custom & DIY packaging so we could compare it to the full package and see what works out best for us. Instead, she got back to us the next day without the information but with a comment that they are probably not a good fit for us. We promptly reassured Mel that we are still very interested and that we got financial support from our parents in the meantime, so we’d be sure we’d be able to book. She did not react to any of our e-mail, text or voice messages for multiple days and then sent us a short e-mail stating “I really appreciate your continued interest. So sweet of you. I do still think that this is not the right fit though. I’m sure you’ll find a place that aligns with the package and service you are looking for.”
We are left very irritated about being treated this way and heartbroken since we really wanted to get married there. Apparently just inquiring about options they offer on their website/having questions was enough to turn us down. We still would be interested in finding a solution, but Mel has not reacted to any way of us trying to reach out and never explained how she came to her conclusion.

Absolutely beautiful wedding venu! I was a bridesmaid recently at a wedding, hosted her and their facilities were beautiful. We had a little cottage to get ready in and the staff was super friendly.

Simply gorgeous outdoor wedding/ event venue. Food, bar, service-all excellent! Stunningly photogenic, especially near sunset. You can see all the way to the Pacific Ocean!!

We had the most amazing wedding at The Condor's Nest Ranch. We rented the ranch from Thursday-Sunday and had friends, family, and some vendors stay with us on onsite - that was honestly the best part. We knew we wouldn't have a lot of one-on-one time with our friends and family during the wedding, so being able to bring them together and stay with us during the duration was one of the highlights of the weekend. Aside from the amazing property and views, our wedding day was flawless. Our guests have repeatedly said it's the best wedding they've attended. Guests are conveniently shuttled from a location of your choice (default is Pala Casino, you'll just need to pay a bit extra for another pickup spot if you want), and shuttled back at the end of the night. The guests loved being able to walk around the property before the wedding - there's refreshments, popcorn, farm animals to feed, some games (cornhole, etc), and 15 acres to explore. Highly, highly recommend this place for an amazing, yet laid back experience. The sunset views during the ceremony and cocktail hour were spectacular. All of the vendors were easy to work with, and like I stated earlier, our wedding day was flawless. Thank you, Condor's Nest Ranch and staff for the most amazing and memorable wedding experience!

We can’t say enough great things about The Condor’s Nest Ranch. It was the absolute perfect place for us to get married. Our family and friends would not stop commenting on how gorgeous the venue was and how wonderful the venue staff was and we couldn’t agree more.The entire team is helpful, kind, and such hard and passionate workers. The wedding coordinator - Jenn, Ranch Manager - Jess, wedding DJ - Jake, and of course the owners Mel and Dave are truly the best. They all were so willing to help, answer our questions, and they all have such huge hearts! They all felt like an extension of our own family and their vision and love for weddings are truly something special.Massive shoutout to Jenn! Her cool, calm, and collected spirit was the best presence at my side on what could have easily been the most stressful day of my life thus far. Also, thank you Jenn for walking down the aisle with my flower girl when she had a little meltdown <3To the Condor’s Nest Ranch team, our experience was nothing short of amazing and we are forever grateful to you all!Thank you!Jackielyn & Nicholas

I got married on 5/22/21 at the Condor's Nest Ranch, and it was the most magical experience! Our original wedding was supposed to be a year earlier, but we had to postpone (twice!) due to COVID, and Bob and Lisa were the kindest, most accommodating hosts ever! We actually ended up staying at the ranch for a mini-vacation in August 2020 and had a great time, and then we had a 115-person wedding in May, and it was so perfect! We originally booked the venue back in March of 2019 after visiting and falling in love with the gorgeous and unique house, INCREDIBLE view, and the owners' enthusiasm and responsiveness. After communicating with a few venues, we were so impressed at how helpful Lisa and Bob were, and they were more than happy to answer any question we had (and responded to emails at the drop of a hat, even after we booked!). What was also great about the venue is that so many things are included, and you aren't stuck making decisions about what type of plates to have, etc -- they have done so many weddings that they know what will work, and you can feel confident that everything will turn out awesome. We even went into the prop room and picked out a few things to put out (they have everything you could imagine), but the staff took it to the next level on the actual wedding day, and everything looked so beautiful. In addition, they work with great vendors -- in particular, everyone was raving about Buckboard catering, who we also used for our rehearsal dinner. Their coordinator, Jen, is so fantastic and organized! Once we had our initial call, she maintained constant communication and made sure everything went off without a hitch. She even had lots of helpful tips for where to set things up and helped our day run very smoothly. I definitely recommend staying in the house for a few days if you choose CNR as your wedding venue -- it's such a fun place to stay! We stayed for four nights, and our families had a blast bonding together, and it's also fun to feed the animals and swim in the pool! There's so much to do at the ranch (and it also makes for a special experience for wedding guests -- we had lots of people commenting on how much fun it was to get off the shuttle and feed carrots to all the animals!). Thanks to Lisa and Bob for the most special day ever! We are so happy to have chosen CNR as our venue!!
