The staff is great here, I've been to quite a few gun shops in the Bay Area this is by far the best one with the best prices. Purchasing a firearm here is a breeze, they finish up your paperwork so fast you're in and out of there in no time. Other places I've purchased firearms from have taken as long as 1.5 hours.

The most important for me is customer service. They take the time to explain and give you the pros or cons of the firearm you looking at. They don't try to influence your choice for the most expensive one. They give you honest feedbacks and the real characteristics of the product and they let you decide based on your taste, need and budget. If you had a negative experience somewhere else. Go to City Arms - 90 Eureka Sq, Unit D, Pacifica, CA 94044, they will treat you like a friend. All staff are very knowledgeable and courteous.

Great staff!!! I've purchased a firearm on more than one occasion here and they've always been very helpful. The last time that I was there I had left my glasses in my car and could've easily gone back to the car to get them, but, the guy (I wish I could remember his name) before filling out the paperwork said, don't worry about it and simply read the questions out loud to me as I filled out the paperwork. I can see perfectly far away and not too bad up close but just the fact that he would take it upon himself to make sure that I saw and understood everything that I was filling out was a thoughtful touch. They have a very nice selection of rifles and handguns, as well as, new and used firearms. I just wished they sold more accessories like holsters, etc. I'd recommend them to anyone be it the newcomer or experienced firearm owner. Great spot!

SUPER WELCOMING AND INFORMATIVE!! Spoke to a gentleman names Matt and was really helpful. He showed me plenty of variations of what I was looking for and wasn't pushy. It's been a few years since I've been to a shop and now looks like I have a permanent one to got to!! Thank you City Arms, looking forward to doing business in the years to come!!

I was a bit shy just looking when I went in. Was greeted less than 3 minutes in the store by a friendly salesmen Demetrie ( owner). Looking for my first 9mm . No pressure sales spent 20 minutes narrowing down models. I bought a new Sig Sauer 9mm double single action. I did research and knew this was a high quality and safe gun. I noticed there were several customers who seemed to know the workers and were also friendly telling me I bought a great gun. A police officer from a neighboring city came in to buy ammo. I noticed his sidearm was the same I just bought. It was a way cool friendly joking environment unlike some other gun stores in the Bay Area who make you feel stupid if your not a gun guy. I noticed it was a melting pot of customers who were picking up their guns after waiting period. Black , white , Asian. Hispanic. Two hot Asian girls came in to look and bought an AR15. I didn't know it was a very soft recoil shooting gun . Think that's my next gun Daniel Defense brand. I was shocked could only buy one gun a month....I recommend this store to any newbie. They were way cool to do business.

Called looking for Mp5 22LR. Someone on the phone stated they had one left. I asked how I can secure it. Male said to give him my credit card number and it will then be all mine. I asked how much and he stated he couldnt tell me because they do not give quotes over the phone. I responded even though I give you my credit card number your not going to tell me how much you are charging me?! He said no. No quotes over the phone. Oddest, unethical , unprofessional business practice. How do you just charge someone without saying the price . Obviously I declined and will it support their business with a "give me your credit card number and I will surprise you with the bill after." Pshhh...

Buyer beware! Short story, they sold me (Covid price gouge) a pistol saying NEW, come to find out it had been severely USED!!! If you buy a new gun from City Arms, and not in a sealed box opened in front of you, you better take to a trustworthy gunsmith and verify it's NEW IMMEDIATELY after taking possession of it!!!!!!! Don't be a victim to these guys!! Details; I paid $825 for a $579 CZ 2075 10/24/2020. I thought I was supporting a local gun store who was taking good care of our community, so the markup was acceptable to me. THEY (the owner, older guy) ARE NOT! Greedy and dishonest!!! It's now 2/5/2023, I have never fired my RAMI, not once, never out of my personal possession. I have moved out of state in late 2022, 2A friendly state and county after 15 years in Pacifica CA. I tried to swap the mag release because I'm a lefty, couldn't get the retention plug to pop back up through washer. I found a highly rated father/son gunsmith (they also have DoD contracts) who specialize in CZ sales and service. I showed them the plug/washer and requested they order and install CZ Tritium night sights, stock sights suck in low level light. I also wanted him to do a low safety inspection because I'm taking a gun safety/shooters class middle of February. They said I can't leave the pistol because of policy and they would call me after the sights arrived, once work starts, I can then leave the pistol through completion. George, the gunsmith, called me after the sights arrived, so I took the RAMI to him. While I was there, just brought to him and never left, he said the front sight was off center and showed me. I told him this is brand new, must have been factory flaw. He removed slide and said are you sure you never fired this because these wear marks on a new CZ would take a couple thousand rounds to make. I started to get angry, not with George but the greedy owner of City Arms!! George called me 2 hours later and said the front sight was epoxied in place and he had to use a sight tool meant for larger caliber just to remove. He then stated CZ does NOT epoxy the sights on new RAMI's, they are dovetail press fit. George then said rear sight was off also!! I asked him to inspect the barrel, he scoped it and stated residual gun powder and corrosion from poor cleaning after firing!!! I literally just received my Hope 9mm pistol cleaning kit on 2/2/2023 getting ready to clean after my class!!!!! Thought about calling City Arms, slept on it, if he's going to be this dishonest, he'll deflect any responsibility, same with email. I'm not asking for refund, financial compensation. I don't even know how to pursue legally! They are not BBB accredited, but I'll post there also! SHAME ON YOU Vladimir Chaban and Dmitry Danielvsky for authorization of selling used as new!!!! I will research if you have any city, county or state contracts, I will alert them to what you did to me and what your business practices are with the community! Hope you choke on the money!

BEwARE, price match call gun stores they will be cheaper, this unethical gun shop wants $1350.00 for a sig p238 That double the cost Went to gun range in Sacramento paid $699.00 for same gun. Citi arms is a beyond a rip off, don't believe me call both shops and see the price difference, also they are extremely rude .

I bought my first gun at this place since it was the closest to me. The staff who helped me was fairly helpful in the beginning as I told him that I was a newbie. However, once the gun was sold, I asked him if he could show me how to maintain it. The attitude suddenly changed to "Go watch some YouTube video". Well, that was my first and last time I spent my money there. Customer service is important to me. If I am treated like dirt, I would go out of my way to give my business somewhere else. Oh boy.. I drove an extra hour and spent way more.

Great service, awesome selection. A little pricey but they usually have what you need. Staff is very friendly. Never feel like they try to upsell. They also have a great selection of quality knives! If you are a 2nd Amendment type of person, this place has it all!

I visited the Pacifica store a couple of times. The same gun counter person was very pushy and constantly talked over me. Very arrogant. Not likely to go back.
