Not too crowded even on a nice Saturday afternoon. Picnic tables are nice so we can take turns snacking, hanging out and shooting.

Very friendly, helpful staff of volunteers who likes to share their enthusiasm for the sport with the general public. This is a great place for families to enjoy an outdoor activity. Practically very review says the same thing. This is a top-notch operation with genuinely warm welcoming hospitable staff.

San Francisco Archery Pro Shop is a FIVE STAR OPERATION. The owner, Ed Rosario, is patient, knowledgeable and very professional. He is a great teacher, takes his time and is through. He has good merchandise and his prices are fair. I highly recommend the shop.

It was our first time into this range, and we had such a blast that we're considering becoming a member, and grabbing our own gears! The staff are all amazing, and they are very passionate and knowledgeable, so you're never left feeling like you're at it alone, should you need more help and teaching.We came in on a Sunday morning for their 10AM outreach class that went over safety information, instructions on how to hold a bow and positioning of your body, and types of commands, to listen to, that are given out when you're on the range. I believe our instructor's name was Jack, and he was so informative and patient with us. After spending 30 minutes with him, we were fitted for our gear, and led to the range to begin practicing. If you are unsure or your form needs some adjustments, the staff members are always nearby or behind observing everyone. This range has walkable trails that are available to members, but their practicing range gives you a taste of how well-kept the site is. They do have outhouses for restrooms, and parking is free. We were able to enjoy our morning out for just $5 - SCORE! Their website provides ample amount of information regarding hours of operation, outreach program info, and upcoming events at the range.Will be returning soon, and hopefully have the chance to walk their trail ranges in the near future!

have come here twice now for their outreach program, where you can learn to shoot with no prior experience for just $5. the first visit, you need to go through a safety briefing which is a bit on the long side, but does a good job of walking through technique too. there are 2 sessions, 9am and 10:30am, every 1st/3rd sunday, first come first serve; they seem to fill up at varying rates each week, and you can stay to shoot longer during the 10:30 session if it doesnt fill up. if you are returning, you dont have to do the safety briefing again which allows you to shoot for much longer. there's a bunch of friendly volunteer staff around who kindly offer tips on how to improve / answer any questions you have. overall a very well run system that provides a wonderful learning opportunity / fun activity to the community :)

Beautiful range with a good variety of terrain that adds to the challenge to those competing in one of several their invitationals. I personally compete in the 1 Million BC shoot the past few years, that’s a fun tournament!

Rolled up to the front gates on my bicycle, was told I might "accidentally" get shot by a bow (with a wink and a smile); we were hundreds of yards from the archery range and the park owner clearly had a prejudice against cyclists. This 1-star rating should perhaps have been filed as a police report, but I thought others should know what kind of people are running this place.
