I would avoid this place in the future. The hotel kept making me think someone who flips houses on the cheap decided to take a stab at hotels as well. The problem is, it hasn’t aged well since the being flipped, due to the poor quality furnishings and workmanship. The fridge and microwave furniture piece was falling apart. The desk/dresser combo were not even close to level with each other (they dipped where they met) and had big chunks taken out of the veneer. The wooden backsplash behind the TV had smears and splatters all over it which were easy to see due to the natural lighting coming in the opposite corner of the room. The baseboards were gross (weird I know, but they were very dirty). Lastly, the pillows were very lumpy - by far the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel.I did like the location - it’s close to the coast and there’s an awesome coffee shop within walking distance as well. I also liked all the windows in the corner of the room - good natural light and okay visibility to the ocean (past a restaurant). The people who checked us in/out were friendly.

Ariel was so kind and sweet on check in! The room was clean, comfortable, and in good order. All in all it was an incredibly lovely and relaxing stay.

It’s an old hotel that has been updated and is nice. As a hotel it’s not fantastic but you’re there for the views and the sounds of the ocean which are pretty great. You are one block from the ocean and the shopping area is quaint.

Per:Location right on the Pacific + 20 minutes by car to San FranciscoCons:Unfortunately, on our three-week road trip, the Inn at Rockaway was by far the worst motel in terms of value for money, cleanliness and service. Our bedding had stains and crumbs on the mattress cover, blanket and pillow. The blanket also had an unpleasant smell. We reported this to reception and asked for a complete change of bed linen. The receptionist immediately apologized and promised that the bed linen would be changed and the heating, which was also not working, would be checked.Unfortunately, in the evening we discovered that only two new blankets had been carelessly placed on the table. But these were also stained...The heating was also not repaired, which we were not informed about.Additionally, there was an exposed dirty vent in the bathroom. For a room that cost just under €160 per night, all of this is an absolute no-go. Also worth noting are the dirty windows and the outdated staircases. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot recommend the motel.

Inn at Rockaway is always great! Everything you need is either onsite or within a block from the hotel. The staff are amazing and have gone above and beyond with our former accommodations.

Great location, and for how peaceful and quiet it was, it's surprisingly close to San Francisco. Friendly staff, free on-site (secure) parking, clean hotel. Bonus: Nearby "Breakers" has amazing breakfast/brunch/lunch for very reasonable prices, and "Pacific Java" has great coffee drinks!Nearby activities: Short walk to the beach where you can watch surfers (or surf yourself!). Nice hiking paths just steps away from the hotel as well. A number of restaurants, shops, and cafes within a few blocks.Safety: Very safe area.Walkability: A great place to stay with so many things to see and do within walking distance.Food & drinks: Breakers is HIGHLY recommended for breakfast/brunch/lunch (not open for dinner).Noteworthy details: Perfect location for travelers wanting to see San Francisco, but not wanting to pay the high price tag for downtown parking (not to mention the stress of worrying about your car being broken into). Only 14 miles to Union Square!

Had a nice getaway weekend in Pacifica. The room was just right for what we had planned. We had an AWESOME view of the ocean. We got to see the sunset which is always amazing. Ariel at the front desk was fantastic. She was so nice and went above and beyond to make our weekend stay great ?? Thank you Ariel. They had a mini bar and snacks at the office which was really convenient. The bed was sooo comfortable. Slept like a baby. Loved, Loved, Loved the convenience of the microwave in the room. We will definitely be back.

I'm going to do this one short for no good reason but I'm out of time, they turned this Motel into a hotel and they did a great job barely a block off the beach with a wonderful View from my room it was nice and had plenty of room for two of us doing business and a great coffee machine. I will stay here again soon.

This motel is one block away from the popular Rockaway Beach in Pacifica. The location was convenient for an event I attended. It is directly behind the iconic Nick's restaurant and bar which is a local gem.The room I had was adequate but lacked maintenance. Water pressure was very low. I informed the front desk. If the room was in good order, I would give them a solid 3 stars.
