“During my recent stay at this establishment for a wedding, I was pleased to find the accommodations exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Although the carpeting had been recently shampooed and was slightly damp, it did not cause any significant inconvenience. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Sunshine for his outstanding hospitality and assistance in ensuring that my family had a memorable and enjoyable experience. The breakfast provided was simple yet delicious. The hotel's proximity to the ocean and nearby shops made it an ideal location for exploring the area. If you are looking for a place to stay in this area, I highly recommend this establishment.Rooms: My husband and I found our room to be exceptionally clean and free of any unpleasant odors. The bathroom was well-stocked with essential toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a bar of soap.Nearby activities: The proximity of this location to the beach is noteworthy. Additionally, there is a nearby hill that offers hiking opportunities. Although my primary purpose for being here was to attend a wedding, I did observe several retail establishments in the vicinity. Furthermore, a Taco Bell Cantina is situated just a few miles down the road, conveniently located near the beach.Safety: I was pleased to observe the presence of a deadbolt lock and a door stopper on the door frame, which effectively restricted the door's range of motion. As a security-conscious individual, I appreciate the option of double-locking the door when staying at hotels, and this feature provided me with a sense of assurance and comfort during my stay.Walkability: The proximity of the establishment to the beach and nearby retail outlets facilitated pedestrian access.Food & drinks: Within the hotel's reception area, there is a conveniently located section that provides a varied assortment of snacks and beverages available for purchase.”

“This is a hidden gem. The rooms could be cleaner, they are lacking in cleanliness, and breakfast is a pre-wrapped pastry from Costco and coffee. Get your breakfast somewhere else. But the location is wonderful. You can hear the ocean at night with your window open. There are hiking trails, a small beach ⛱️ in ready to go back. Please clean your rooms properly. Especially the bathroom...

Rooms: Housekeeping is taking shortcuts. I found a leftover shampoo bottle in the shower. The shower didn't look like it was scrubbed, just a quick wipe-down, maybe. The for was even dirty. The drain came out of the floor it you stepped in it.

Walkability: There are trails over some small hills on both sides of the hotel.”

“It’s an old hotel that has been updated and is nice. As a hotel it’s not fantastic but you’re there for the views and the sounds of the ocean which are pretty great. You are one block from the ocean and the shopping area is quaint.”

“Stayed here after a nearby New Year’s party. Pretty basic but the bed was comfortable, room was clean and quiet, and plenty of hot water. Wifi password didn’t work but we were only there overnight and didn’t need it. Would stay again.”
