Why 5 stars? For the personalized service, customer care, and friendly/professional staff. I'm one of their customers, and most of the time I'm greeted by my first name. How personalized. Is that?

I am pretty satisfied with my bank, they always treat me well. I had some trouble with them when they were going through the transition period of switching from first national bank to tri counties bank but they seemed to have gotten through all those problems! I like that the staff has been the same for years so you always know who is going to be there and they know you by name. So glad they didnt hire all new people when they switched ownership!

Honestly, I have never been happy with the customer care at the Linda Mar branch, I have one word... Rude, but I stayed there because I like their online banking, and banking practices, but now that it's Tri Counties, I'm not happy with either. They charge you a surcharge for using their ATMs, plus a $2 charge for a bank statement that I didn't even ask for? I have online banking. They need to replace a few of the employees at that branch, they have horrible customer care practices. Goodbye

This used to be a great bank but it's got a few issues now. There aren't very many ATMs around anymore so I'm constantly paying surcharges to access my money. They also don't keep up with technology. I have not been able to use Apple Pay because this bank doesn't allow it. It makes sense since with Apple Pay I won't need to use other ATMs which means they won't charge me a fee to get my own money. If you want to bank like it's 1999 this place is perfect for you, if you want to live in the present find another bank.

A good smaller bank chain, they make you feel like family. The staff are very friendly and dedicated, they will explain everything you need to know patiently and comprehensively. They handle complicated transactions with minimal bumbling. Their account plans are pretty fair. Overall, I trust them with my money.
