I love this place!
The people who work here are so nice and the owner is incredibly kind.
The studio is clean, organized and filled with natural light, which I love. It's always great energy in the studio and I've learned a ton since I've joined. I've taken both the 1:1 lessons and the classes here and I would recommend both.
Everyone is super helpful and excited about their craft. I couldn't picture a better place to be a beginner.

My husband gifted me a private pottery wheel lesson for my birthday. The teacher, Emma was amazing! Incredibly clear instruction resulting in me making 2 pieces on that very first occasion. I was hooked! I’ve gone on to take additional lessons to learn each of the steps in detail and have had chance to try my hand at throwing, trimming, glazing, and even hand-building This studio has talented, friendly instructors but also is super well equipped with a good range of clays and glazes on offer. The space is very calm and welcoming. There is so much on offer including options to explore soda firing or raku too. I highly recommend this studio.

Really love this place! Currently taking my second class here and have also had our work team building here in the past. They just moved to a new, bigger, warmer location, and now I'm enjoying it more than ever. The classes are all really affordable, have a good mix of accessible schedules, and the teachers are all lovely. Please support this local gem!

Had the bestest time with a private group class, first time newbie and was so pleased with what I made with Rebecca + Matt's kind, expert teaching! seems like really nice facilities for more involved ceramic-ing, too

We had a work team-building event at Clay Creations and everyone had a wonderful time! They were great at explaining the process and helping along the way, as needed. Highly recommend!

For my daughter's 11th birthday we signed our family up to do a pottery class together. We signed up online and chose our two hour slot, and we had an amazing instructor named Emma. She was so patient and encouraging and also gave us such sound instruction. You can really tell it's a passion of hers. To say I enjoyed this is an understatement! My daughter loved it as well, and plans to try more classes (me too if I can). If you even have a passing interest in trying this, I encourage you to trust clay creations to get you started. It was thrilling to see a lump of clay come to life into a useful vessel. Everyone there making things looked like they were enjoying themselves. We were so impressed that we were able to make two beautiful bowls each. It was amazing. Thank you so much Emma for the beautiful memories and wonderful time!!

I visited Fall 2021 for a class and honestly wish I had paid the extra $15 to go elsewhere. The class was only 2 hours compared to the usual 3. Our instructor was very patient with our group and would ensure our safety by sanitizing everything they used. However, I felt that clear instructions and reasoning were lacking. My friends and I couldn't catch on what steps made the pottery process. I'd find things out too late - for example, that clay had a "lifespan," or that I was done but hadn't even shaped the bowl the way I hoped to. I didn't have a clear sense of the timeline for each step involved or why I was told to hold my hand a certain way. Overall, I think I'll need another class elsewhere to feel like it was worth it. Lastly, our ceramics pickup was equally confusing. We were given a window to pick up our pieces and the address. However when we got there there was no further instructions and no one helped us. We thought we had to search amongst the students' hundreds of works which I'm sure wouldn't be appreciated.
