Not impressed. Drive an extra 3-5 minutes and go to Pacifica beach hotel. Front desk was not knowledgeable and seemed annoyed with being asked questions.

Nice room with an ocean view, but front desk is poorly trained. Asked me to give my address out loud in the lobby (to which I responded, I will write it out so nobody else knows where I live), then told me my room number out loud in the presence of other guests. Security risk anyone?

Hotel accidentally charged me two nights when I already purchased two nights through a third-party booking and will not refund my money. There’s also mold from leaky windows don’t recommend this hotel.

The rooms are clean and comfortable but the dresser where the refrigerator is keeped opening up every time you walk around it. Also my daughter's boyfriend planned to ask my daughter for marriage and it also was her birthday and my birthday so we went there on December 26-30 and the weather was so bad that it picked up a segment bench and tossed it over a brick fence and landed in the parking lot where are car was and tossed a bunch of rocks on are car . They didn't even let us know that anything was going on we had to find out about it are self. We could not enjoy the beach because of the weather and are room was already booked and payed for so we tried to enjoy the trip anyway we could.

We have been coming here for close to 9 years. It's "our spot" and has everything we look for when we need to get away. There is a hiking trail that connects off the back of the property, an amazing water facing restaurant and covered private parking. We get an ocean king suite which always is to sleep with the patio door open listening to the waves as it's not on ground level. We've been here for anniversaries, birthdays and just a weekend away and we always love it.

I give two stars for the location and view. Otherwise not at all what we were expecting for a Wyndham trademark hotel. The room was in serious need of an update. The mattresses were stained as was the bedding on one of the beds. There were no bugs thank goodness. The views however were spectacular.

This is one of the best hotels. It's ocean front, which is very rare in that area. From Santa Cruz up Highway 1 all the way to San Francisco there is only 3 hotels that are oceanfront, including the Ritz Carlton, whose prices are 10 times the price at Pacifica Lighthouse Hotel. Our King Suite with an incredible ocean front view, right on the beach was only $175! For 1 night! If multiple nights are booked the price is even lower.I'm already looking at returning in the very near future for at least 3 nights.I am very grateful to have found this exceptional hotel.

Wanted adjoining rooms, I was given an upgrade for $20.00 for a junior suite adjoins a regular room. Oops no adjoins door, guess we could have jumped the rail on the balcony!!! Put placard on the door to have room cleaned Saturday morning, room not cleaned, bed not made, no clean towels. Seem you have to tell them you want this service when you check in. Clerk never mentioned it. Asked for clean towels which never arrived. When I asked about both problems I was told “sorry”. Had to get a new key card, first one didn’t work. ATT service was very sporadic, didn’t work most of the time. Once they got your credit card number you were on your own. We won’t be returning.

Nice sounds of the ocean as I fell asleep last night. From my balcony I can see the crashing waves slam against the rocks and spray the fools that can not figure out they are standing in the bullseye of a water war!! Lmbo :) I felt very safe in the area...:)Food & drinks: Surrounding food places were great

You get what you pay for here. Good sized rooms however no safes available. Our room actually smelt a little damp. However service from staff was good. Excellent location on skipping stone bay beach. We had to ask for our rooms to be serviced - what's that all about? Lots of free parking and a good place to base yourself to tour about from.

The location is excellent, right next to the beach, allowing you to fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the waves. However, the hotel appears quite dated, with many facilities showing signs of wear and tear, seemingly weathered by the sea. The swimming pool is also on the smaller side. Despite these drawbacks, the picturesque beachfront setting provides a unique charm, making it a serene getaway for those who appreciate tranquility and don't mind a bit of nostalgia in their accommodation. If you're seeking a peaceful seaside escape, this hotel's prime location might outweigh its aging amenities.

This hotel has SOOOO MUCH potential. Closer to 3.5 stars. I think once they finish the renovation it'll definitely be a 5 star rating! The hotel is about a 20 minute drive from the hustle and bustle of the San Francisco area. OMGoodness, I don't think you can get closer to the ocean without sleeping on the beach! LolI called the hotel directly before I made my reservation to make sure I got a room that was closets to the water with a full view of the ocean. It was pure relaxation sleeping with the door open and hearing the ocean waves all night!!! My room also had a little balcony you could walk out on. Take a look at the picture I posted that shows the room layouts. I stayed in Room 122 and had an unobstructed view of the ocean. As of July 2023, most of Building B was under construction and off-limits. The room itself was a little rundown and there weren't many amenities from the hotel. But you're really paying for the location. We are breakfast at Breakers, which was within walking distance of the hotel. If you get a good rate, I'd recommend staying here. Or definitely check it out once they finish the remodel.
