“I never thought I'd be posting a 5 star review for a USPS, but here I am! This review is mainly for Larry, who seems like a star employee based on other reviews as well. He's just SO friendly and helpful, and made sure that my many, many wedding invitations were "hand-canceled" - they all made it to their recipients without issues!! Thank you Larry!”

“Needed a document notarized last week. Although I have mailed packages from Mail Call, I didn't realize they offered notary services. I walked in and the employee (I think it was Tyler) was on the phone and I had to wait a few minutes. I was impressed by how professional he was while speaking to the customer. It only took a few minutes to get my paperwork notarized. So convenient! Want to add that although the UPS Store in Westchester also provides notary service, you need to make an appointment. Mail Call was easier for me since I was just able to walk in. Thanks for the great, friendly service!”

“Never crowded, always helpful, which is saying a lot for the USPS these days. Whenever we have the time to drive a bit farther to drop off a package, we stop here.”

“I’ve been to this USPS a handful of times, and the staff has always been very nice and helpful. Like any USPS, there’s often a line, but twice while I’ve been in here one staff member has come out to answer any questions from the line, which really expedites the process. Overall, only good experiences for me at this USPS!”

“This post office single-handedly revived my faith in USPS. Or, rather, my faith that trips to the post office can be pleasant. The two fellows that seem to be there most often are so effusively friendly and helpful! To the point where one of them, I believe his name is Jackie, got me something green to wear on Saint Patrick's Day so I wouldn't get pinched. We've since moved and I genuinely miss having those nice moments when I'd run errands. To those who can frequent this post office, please take some time to appreciate it!”

“Greatest Post Office on earth. Seriously, the entire team from Lupe to Daniel to Raul have allowed me to grow my business faster than I had ever hoped.Looking for a Post Office with actually super friendly employees and great service? Well, turns out it exists and it’s nestled nicely within Topanga. My only concern is that the team seems to be understaffed and overworked since the new Postmaster took over. The team works as hard as humanly possible, but there are still limits to what can be reasonably accomplished with only one or two employees at the front, especially as we approach the busiest time of the year for packages and mail.Thank you team!Andy”

“I've had an address here for years now that I use as my primary business address . I travel most months of the year and Beverly Hills Postal Place makes sure I get all my mail without interruptions. I pick it up while in town from a friendly and professional staff . But one of the best services I utilize is they forward my mail to me once a month , where ever I am in the world with a quick phone call and the address I am currently . Love these guys and their great service .”

“This is just to give a shoutout to Keena, who helped me on the day. She was alone for the whole hour that I was there (I had a large number of drop offs.) She was polite, helpful and as efficient as she could given the long process of dropping off over 50 envelopes. Thanks Keena!!”

“Best mailbox center for miles. Every time I come here the service is excellent. I needed to send a fax months ago and he did it for free without thinking twice. Old school style service. Very appreciated. Padded envelopes reasonably priced. Everything you need. I couldn't recommend a better place. A PLUS.”

“Postal service gentleman is friendly and helpful. PO closes between 1-2 pm on weekdays. Crowded parking lot. Watch out for unsafe motorists who make unsafe turns against the direction of traffic flow.”

“Sometimes, we don't know when we'll be needing a post office when not in our usual stomping grounds. Looking for one on the phone pulled up several in adjacent neighborhoods, so why not go to one in Calabasas, a very nice, wooded, and hilly neighborhood at Los Angeles's far western edge?I see that there's a spread in the reviews for the USPS in Calabasas, CA. We've all had some outlier experiences with post offices we regularly use. Some post offices are almost always marginal, but that's rare and can sometimes coincide with their area in general. I almost hate to say that. The Calabasas post office is in a strip mall. It shares parking with other merchants in this strip mall, but a parking space is likely to be found.I needed to send a small box using the USPS priority mail product. Their free boxes you obtain for this service are well designed - in how sturdy they are, in how easy they are to assemble, and even in how easy it is to remove the protective adhesive so that the box will seal. The price for this was just about $10.The gentleman at the counter was helpful and polite. He even added some extra tape at my request, even though the box probably would not have come undone. But why chance it? We made some small talk, given how uncrowded it was at the time, and we commented on how the SFV and the West Side of L.A. have changed over the years.I was told the parcel would arrive in 2 days. It got to its destination the following day! I'm giving this post office 4 stars because it's a small post office. However, it's clean and seems to function well. Now, let me add some pedantic fodder to this review. First, more so than any other section of the city of Los Angeles, SFV suburbs tend to use the name of the suburb (Northridge, Van Nuys, Sylmar, Studio City, etc.) on the mailing address, whereas West Side suburbs like Brentwood, Ladera Heights, and Miracle Mile use Los Angeles on the mailing address. However, if you were to send something to a SFV suburb and address it to Los Angeles - followed by the correct zip code - I'm pretty sure it would get there. Then, the word "calabazas," from which Calabasas was probably derived, means pumpkins in Spanish.”

“USPS Encino office one of the best post office I like to go because the staff are very customer service oriented. Luis is one of the employees who will always give you a smile to help you-very gratifying specially at a time when we do not trust dropping mail in the mailbox near our medical office. I wish they clone him. Also there is another lady employee (maybe Asian descent) who always helps me and is a very customer service oriented employee-i wish i remember her name. Sorry lady but you are a very good employee who gives the best service”

“I don't understand the low rating, I've been here twice in the past month and my experience has been really nice. Jose has taken care of my packages both times and he was so helpful and polite; I didn't know how to send a package and he was really patient explaining what I had to do. The office is clean, there's plenty of parking (street & paid lot right next to the building) and staff is friendly.”

“I see bad reviews on this location but honestly it has been the best post office that I have found! I normally drop 60+ items per week and NONE of my packages have been stolen, I used to go to the Van Nuys one and like 8 packages got lost and I had to refund my clients , they’re so nice , there’s a Latina girl helping in the front that she’s always so nice to me , and even the one that scans the packages in the back a told guy he’s also so nice , I really trust them a lot , and I see a lot of people dropping items here and I’m pretty sure they trust this place too , they always have a lot of drop offs”

“My neighborhood post office. I often come here to drop off packages. This is a malls post office so there is might be a line, but the employees are always nice and efficient. I've never had a bad experience here. There is parking right in front, on Wilshire and in the back.”

“The United States Postal Service on N Doheny Avenue delivered an absolutely exceptional experience, defying expectations. When a package I ordered online didn't arrive despite the tracking indicating delivery, I reached out to the company, ESTY. Their immediate response seemed to suggest detachment, anticipating a potential claim.Deciding to visit the nearby post office, I encountered Evelyn, a remarkably polite and helpful lady. Providing her with the tracking number, she conducted preliminary investigations, suspecting issues with the delivery. Despite the driver having left for the day, Evelyn proactively contacted his supervisor, ensuring a resolution.Anticipating an empty promise, I was astounded when Evelyn called me on Saturday morning, just as she promised. She explained that the package was misaddressed, likely at a different location. Skeptical yet hopeful, I ventured to the indicated address, and to my astonishment, the package awaited me.The diligence and dedication displayed by Evelyn and the postal service team were unparalleled. Evelyn's proactive approach, coupled with her genuine concern for customer satisfaction, exemplified exceptional service. This experience stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of the United States Postal Service in ensuring customer satisfaction. Despite the initial setback and the company's attempt to distance themselves, the postal service's dedication and professionalism shone through. In a world where customer service can often fall short, encountering such exceptional service is truly remarkable. The experience with the United States Postal Service on N Doheny Avenue exceeded all expectations, leaving me deeply impressed and grateful for their outstanding efforts.”

“first, i went to my local post office in inglewood (90045)unbelievably rude, belligerent, untrained in post office procedures.went to file a change of address for someone who is overseas and authorized me as her representative, as requested by her local PO.despite having a letter from the USPS that outlines the process, inglewood clerks refused to accept the documentation, accused me of lying or fraudulently forging the required letter of authorization that i presented, made up a ridiculous requirement that i should be authorized with power of attorney, then threw me out because i wasnt at my friend's local PO.next i went to this PO (90025; my friend's local PO) and night turned to day. treated with respect and courtesy, change of address accepted without question. and a lovely smile from the lady who helped me.”

“I drive past 3 other USPS offices to get to this one! I ship quite a few packages, I drop them off here. Why? Because me and my customers don’t like waiting for tracking info. My packages get scanned and start tracking quickly, as soon as 45 minutes but never longer than 8 hours (one PO nearer to me once took 48 hours!). I’ve only had to go to the window a few times, service was efficient and I got what I needed.”

“*Sweet Simone at the BH PO*Maybe it's me, but I don't have negative experiences when I come here. I'm not saying the bad reviews are false or exaggerated...but I like to set the tone with a friendly hello...then receive the same in return...and it's all uphill from there. Simone assisted me and was sweet & friendly, advised which padded envelope I should purchase to ensure safe & proper delivery...and she even offered me a piece of candy :)Made sure to arrive today mid-afternoon = post lunch crowd/prior to closing to have something shipped to Newport Beach. I avoided the usual crowds and was the only one there -- but once I completed my task, the line was beginning to form. YMMV at this particular BH Post Office Branch...but it always seems to work for me because first impressions are everything. And it works both ways.”

“Postal workers here are in the education business, not logistics. 5 out of the 7 people in front of me don't know the intricacies of whatever they are trying to do. Literally these works are patiently explaining why a $20 increase in insurance won't change the price, why they need more stamps, or that not dealing with them and purchasing the same online would result in literally the same price. Soooo patient. If you're actually expecting to come to a USPS store and be out in 5 minutes, frankly, you're the idiot.Amazing prices and friendly staff!”

“The ladies at the counter are the most friendly staff I have ever encountered. I went to this office for fingerprinting services. Machine had some minor issues, and it took several times to get my fingerprints taken. Not a great situation since I was in a rush. The lady who was helping me was patient, had such a positive attitude and handled everything with care. Got my results online the same day!”

“Generally I find this is a better USPS with friendlier staff, easier parking, and shorter lines than the others in West LA. Bring your own pen, tape, whatever supplies, but other than that, I am generally a big fan of this USPS.”

“Very nice staff Michael is a very hard worker patient and very good with the elderly especially with my mom. He gets to five stars. Thank you. Please keep him at this location.”

“I love the convenience of this location! If you are on the UCLA campus, it is THE place to send off your snail mail to other cities, states, and countries. Sure, it is a bit small and cramped, but they offer nearly everything you need a post office to do... mail pre-postage paid items, pay for postage on boxes, buy stamps, etc. They even offer free tape and scissors. The longest I have seen the line is 6 people, and it has never taken more than 15 minutes to get to the front of the line... even during tax season. My local post office takes far longer, so I typically bring all of my mailing to work to send off from this location. The student workers are friendly and knowledgeable. Mail is usually picked up at two times during the day (1 p.m. and 4 p.m., I believe) and this location does not receive any mail or boxes (which expedites the line).”

“After a bad experience at another USPS location earlier in the day, I was pleasantly surprised by this location. I went on a Wednesday during the day and there was no line. I went in to verify my identify for mail forwarding and the woman who helped me was friendly, quick, and efficient. I was able to get in and out within 5 minutes.”
