“Love this Y. Especially the boot camps in the mornings. Todd, Betsy and Kevin all have 45 min classes in the mornings that area good and deadly. I always leave having had a great cardio workout and completely drenched. Awesome machines and great staff. It's a real community YMCA with lots of regulars.”

“Loved this shop and the staff! Bikerowave is a an awesome non-profit with some reasonably priced bikes. The people are passionate about fixing bikes and making sure everyone can experience the joys of biking. Michael helped me pick a bike and spent 30 minutes talking through the different considerations in buying a used bike. He also let me test ride the different bikes and also helped me understand the differences in the types of gears and speeds. I ultimately got a used mountain bike there for about $180 but they had bikes in the low $100 range or less. There was also a kid's bike for $25. There is always a chance you find a cheaper bike on OfferUp but this shop has a great mission and has people that truly care about biking. Highly recommend checking it out!”

“The activities were fun, we got to learn about using power tools, and the staff were great! Especially Hanabee, Jim, and Alex. Started off with a name activity and moved into using a hand saw and drill. Made a thing called not-a-box where you start off with a box and transform it into your own thing. Totally recommend!”

“Went with the family on a Saturday afternoon to see and learn about unique animals. The girls (age 5) truly enjoyed their time as the tour was very informative and interactive, a lot was learned during that 45-60 tour. A variety of unique and ecotic animals are there (reptiles, birds, fish, a big cat, a fox, tarantulas, and more) along with their unique backstory.Getting there you have to slow down as you near, its a turn onto a small street into a business center where parking is shared with other businesses, buts theres sufficient space on the weekend. Small wait time as you wait for the tour guide to finish another tour and your time to arrive, but outside they gave a play area to pass the time or rest. Great staff as well, the overall experience was great and wellworth it.”

“One of my absolute favorites! I’m a second hand, thrifting, vintage lover. This shop is conveniently located by the 405 and 101 and always has parking. Really great stuff, especially house goods and cool vintage clothes. I decorated my wedding with thrifted dishes, glassware, cake holder, etc. I got some great pieces here and a cute brown leather belt. I have also donated my gently used items here. I’m an animal lover so I really love that it’s for animals! ???”

She listened to me. She shared her words of encouragement.. I listened to her as well. She shared valuable information. It has been a while since I felt that someone really cared about my ASL skills.I see Ms. Benita as a very extraordinary person. " Many are called but, few are chosen ." Ms. Benita has been chosen. For me ,she has been a blessing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I feel new hope. I'm more encouraged than I have ever been. PRIOR to meeting her, I felt broken and discouraged. Speaking with her LIFTED my spirits. “We were here last Saturday for a party for my grand niece. It was a beautiful night to be outside. Tables were set up and they have lights hanging which is pretty. There was a DJ and it was a nice area to set up the buffet. Restrooms are inside and there is plenty of parking behind across the street. GPS makes it awkward to find the parking though.”

“I am in my late 80ts. I have a difficult time getting around, Dr's, marketing. The church, was there for me !! They have a special program for people like me, ANGELES. I have been able to not worry about getting to a Dr and market because of these Brentwood Presbyterian church angels. I try not to take advantage of their services unless it's really important”

“This is a Jewish faith based addiction rehabilitation center. Not just alcohol and drugs, but gambling, eating disorders, etc. This is also my family. How do you describe your family? As well as i describe my birth family, i describe this place as the reason i am alive. Intelligent, dramatic, loving, insightful, in the know, innovative, pioneering, rigorous but most importantly a safe haven to find yourself with like minded people and just home. They forever changed my life. I am so grateful for the opportunities they offered me and the lifelong friendships that i formed and participate in to this day. If you feel like you dont belong anywhere and your Jewish or not in some cases, if you struggle with any kind of addiction or something that keeps leading you to a place you dont want to be anymore. If you love music, yoga, surfing, people you can count on to show up for you, if you are willing to make changes in your life and discover what your real passion is. Well....welcome to beit t'shuvah(which means in hebrew House of Return)....and welcome to the rest of your life. As the rabbi used to say when the community welcomes you into the house at your first shabbos...HANG ON ita going to be a wild ride.Oh yeah, highly recommended!!!!!!!”

“This rescue does nothing but good in this world! The rescue injured doggies and the pay for surgeries and treatments where others would have walked away. I can't thank the people of K911 ResQ enough for what they do. They rescued Vito, a paralyzed pup, got him physical therapy and now he's been able to move a little more than he used to. God bless you!”
