Collar & Leash is the best! Jose and his staff are warm, personable, and always generous with treats! The store offers a well-rounded variety of food and pet accessories and I always look forward to buying the different holiday toys throughout the year. I highly recommend Collar & Leash. It's a great neighborhood store.

Really nice little location in the Highlands. I was there a week earlier and discovered as I was going over my receipt the team member did not charge me for the dog collar I got to match a dog lead. I was mortified and went back as soon as I could to pay for it.I was saddened by the reaction of the team member (a different one) that he was surprised that I did this. And thanked me for my honesty. It is a sad world we live in when someone is surprised by honesty.Retail shrinkage is what drives prices higher. In the final analysis we all pay for shop lifters transgressions. The stores that suffer from the loss are not always covered by insurance. The employees that have to play store prevention loss instead of being free to actually help their customers. And, of course, the cost of goods due to ever increasing insurance rates.

Imagine my surprise coming across this sweet little pet shop in the Palisades. And how cool it was to have such a wonderful experience with a very nice sales person. Very helpful with exceptional customer service. I will definitely be visiting here again when I am in the area.

Our dog just had surgery, we called at 6:58 and asked them to wait an extra minute so we could purchase a cone, as the . At 7:01 they refused service even after we said that our dog just had surgery and we needed a cone to prevent injury. This place clearly does not care about the wellness of animals, they clearly closed early. Even after offering other forms of payment. Including: cash and Venmo, because the register was closed. Do not recommend, they do not care enough.

Our favorite store in the Palisades. We have been going here for years and my son loves taking our dogs there to pick out treats or new toys. They are very friendly love animals are great with kids and have phenomenal advice for pet care. Check them out and there's a little park next-door for kids and dogs to sniff a bit.

The worst stay away overpriced bad service, the manager has a real bad attitude! They let dogs run around the store off leash so if you walk in the store you or your dog that is on leash might get attacked beware!!

Amazing service and most importantly amazing food. Jose (the owner) and the entire staff care deeply for their pet loving customers. I live the valley and I will drive to Pacific Palisades just so I can get the excellent service they provide. Highly recommend!!

Stopped in today to get a new leash for my dog and I was so impressed! Their selection was great, the store was well organized making everything easy to find and the employees were so nice and helpful! I noted that my dog had been chewing her leashes and he suggested using bitter apple and even grabbed one for me. He also gave me a referral for a much needed trainer that services the area! Lastly, he gave my pup some treats and lots of love. I came across another employee outside who was equally personable. Will be making this store my go-to for my pet needs after this lovely experience!

This is the greatest pet store ever! I am a brand new puppy owner and Daniel spent a lot of time with me going over my list of what I needed. He was very thorough in his rationale for various brands/options and it was much appreciated. Another employee (owner?) even offered to hold onto my pup while I ran down to Starbucks. Yes you will pay a bit more for the items you purchase here, but it feels good to support local business and to get such attentive service. Thank you, fellas! Hachi and I look forward to returning!
