WOW. Ugh because not only Wells Fargo, but poorly managed. For those of you who missed Wells Fargo's last spectacular debacle, but they closed lots of accounts if didn't have verified address. SO, in my case (been with them for decades) they never reached out, I'd moved to new Airbnb in California to help son and family. They'd had address for long time but I'd moved last year. They cleared out my savings and in the most OUTRAGEOUS banking decision, put it in cashiers check and SENT TO ADDRESS I'M NOT AT!!!!! WHAT ON EARTH? Hello? Anyone home at WF???? So my Social Security check gets automatically deposited in it as well. What's staggeringly stupid is they kept attached checking open! Spent THREE hours on phone with SS who made WF look like absolute crazy people. I was told they didn't know where my money was and it couldn't be canceled. This was a month ago! I've got to go and sign affidavit at bank to start process of new check. This bank had NO idea how to handle (though casher had customers complaining about it). Told me long process, I'd have to spend time at bank and there would be charges. The banker stared at computer with no idea what to do. I said I would not pay fees for this tremendous screw up and he said he'd find out all and call back promptly. Didn't happen. Definitely leaving Wells Fargo. So many problems including not catching people using card number for rent, foid, etc. on East coast despite living on West coast. Thousands of dollars. Never fully reimbursed. Just the most terribly run bank..UGH.

There is always at least a 15 minute wait if you need to see a bank teller. Don't even think about coming here over your lunch break. Apparently that's when everyone who works at this bank takes their lunch breaks and the bank tellers have no back up. There was one other person working but apparently he was too important to step behind the counter. He didn't look very busy to me.

The literal worst bank in Monterey county. At any time of day at any day of the week there is one person at the counter helping customers with a line 7 people deep. The ATMs inside the branch are not a sufficient replacement for a human being. While there is one teller there are 3 to 4 people behind the counter doing anything other than helping customers. If the bank had not bought my mortgage I would never step foot in this place. I would rather stuff my money in a mattress than trust these people with my money.

Yesterday, I went into Well Fargo Bank Pacific Grove Branch to get a "Signature Guarantee with Medallion Stamp" on a document. A "Signature Guarantee with Medallion Stamp" is used as a means to verify identity and to make sure that I am authorized to transfer funds. I was referred to the Branch by my WFB Financial Advisor to have this service done. Two trips and over 45 minutes later, I left the Bank with the required documentation, but I felt humiliated and frustrated from the experience. I have been a customer of WFB for 45 years, and I truly felt like I was not being treated appropriately. Dean Lewis called the Legal Department, checked with individuals in the back, and informed me after an extended amount of time that he might not be able to complete the request as he had a client coming in 30 minutes. Perhaps further training would expedite this simple procedure that should not have taken more than a few minutes.

Fast and reliable when cashing checks at this branch! Thanks everyone! Unfortunately cant say the same about Monterey or Carmel branches. Monterey put a hold on one of my checks for over 2 weeks before it cleared! It was over a little thousand too. Not too much! Carmel branch will not cash your checks unless u have amount to match the check amounts. Waste of time!

I don't even know what I can say that is good about this location. I have had an account with this bank since I was born, my parents started it for me. My mother is the "joint" person on my account since I was a minor at the time of opening. I am now 24 years old and went in a few weeks back to see if I could get my mother off my account. They told me that she had to do it since she created the account. Then, my mother went in alone to the bank and explained the situation, asked to taken off the account, and they told her that I had to be there too since I am over 18. Then, we finally find time to go in together, we went in on Nov. 3rd and the associate told us we had to make an appointment together with a private banker, therefore, we couldn't do it that day. So basically, we got told three different things from three different visits to the bank. Wells Fargo, you need to be more aware and give out the correct information when clients ask. We wasted our time on THREE different occurrences due to your associates lack of knowledge. Get it together, Wells Fargo Pacific Grove.

Me and my wife walked in 30 min ago trying to add my name to a savings account. Even though there was 2 bankers there and No Customers in the branch. They would Not help us! They told us to call the number on the back of our card. But that did Not help either. The banker told us we had to make an appointment! So we got an appointment a WEEK from now!I guess the bankers at the branch rather play videogames then work.

Everytime I come here there is only one teller and about 7 other employees walking around. The teller typically has a line of 5 to 6 people. Yet the other employees never seem to care.

I walked into this branch to make a deposit into my Ira. After waiting in the teller line for 10 minutes without so much as a "we will be right with you," I approached the teller and asked if I could do my transaction with her or a banker. They advised me that I would need to see a banker. That is totally fine but also advised that it would take 30-45 minutes because they need to start their lunches. Excuse me, while I understand the importance of this and compliance with CA law, it was 11:15 in the morning and my transaction would have taken 10 minutes. The service manager at this branch was the person in question who said this to me, unfortunately I didn't get her name. I am just shocked that her priority was that someone who starts work at 8:30 have a lunch at 11:30 and before helping a customer.

I was on paperless statements and wasn't watching my checking and savings. Had a few hundred in each account and wasn't using this account. Just received an overdraft notice in my email??? All my money gone. Freaking thieves. A $40 auto payment causing $37 and $14 transfer fees. I don't know. They could have reversed these fees. They kept all that free money. Closed my account. Stay away from The Bank of Thieves. Tell all your friends...

Absolutely the most friendliest, quickest most pleasant banking establishment I've had the pleasure of visiting.
