“Our children (ages 2 and 4) attended Great Beginnings for only 10 months, but in that time we truly grew to love the school. The teachers are all responsive, caring, and truly seem to enjoy their jobs. The outdoor play areas are fantastic, and the variety of activities throughout the day are age-appropriate, fun, and purposeful. We truly felt sad when it was time to move on, as it was difficult to say goodbye to such the wonderful staff and the excellent learning and socializing opportunities for our children. We would absolutely recommend this school to anyone looking for quality childcare in the Monterey area.”

“Teddy Bear Preschool is amazing! My son has been going there since November of 2020 and absolutely loves it. It was a difficult decision to put him in school with the worry of Covid but Teddy Bear takes all the necessary precautions to keep the kids and staff safe. Additionally, the director and teachers are responsive and communicative- I feel like I can reach out anytime.My son loves the classroom environment, seeing his friends and teacher each day, as well as the different playgrounds they rotate through during the week. Mrs. Connie has been an amazing teacher and he is always so excited to go to school. Each month there is a different theme that coincides with the daily art projects they do which helps him learn and develop new skills in an easy going manner. I couldn't be happier with the decision to pick Teddy Bear as our preschool for our three year old.”
“If I can give them a 10 stars I will. Guys, this is a Christian school. If the school agenda or teaching does not fit your beliefs THEN MOVE ON and find a different school for your kids. I read the pathetic reviews from doctor w, jane s, and loraine l. Your reviews clearly demonstrated that you are the type of parents who cannot be pleased. Why attend a Christian school if you can't even be kind to people and businesses. There is a pandemic going on people, you absolutely have no empathy to others and businesses, rather than take time to work on yourself, you took joy in BASHING people and businesses and leave them a NEGATIVE review because the school will not waiver from the Bible. SHAME ON YOU!I am starting to realize platform like yelp is for HATERS and people who enjoys putting other people and businesses DOWN.I am SO GLAD you guys don't attend this school.I have two wonderful kids attending this school since kindergarten (4 yrs ago), while NO ONE is perfect and NO SCHOOLS are perfect but for the fact that my kids are enjoying going to school everyday, thriving academically, and not behind like many other kids in public school is a HUGE BLESSING. I would HIGHLY recommend this school to ANYONE! We thank God for the staffs and Principal for their love and hard work. God Bless You!”

“So happy we found this preschool! My cousin highly recommended them, and were so glad to have chosen them for our son. The teachers are amazing, miss Debbie and miss Olga are so warm and my son loves them. They encourage the kids to be adventurous and curious, and even noticed my son loved art and encouraged him to continue to explore it. Miss Monique the director is amazing. You can really tell they love what they do. They follow Covid protocols and made us feel comfortable with our son return to school. So sad that this is our son's last year but can't wait to bring our youngest there in a couple of years!”

“Every parent worries about what preschool they send their child to, and what skills are essential for their child to learn. Well, my wife and I have found a preschool that exceeds our expectations. I've been in education for over 20 years, and Auburn's House is EXCEPTIONAL with a well-trained, caring staff who teach well-rounded Montessori curriculum. They blend many lessons, (including fine motor, practical skills, math, geography, theater, gardening, math and language arts, and many more,) with play and discovery time that is leaves smiles on all the students' faces. The family community is also very supportive. We feel very lucky to have found Auburn's House!!”

“I want to shout out to the ESL program here! My in laws have been attending class for a year now, and these classes have been instrumental in helping them adapt to life in the US. Not only are they increasing their fluency, but the classes teach helpful content for adult immigrants such as driving/car vocabulary, how to interact with police, banking and grocery shopping in the US, and so much more. I have been very impressed with the quality and intentionality of these classes.
The teachers are devoted, encouraging, and kind, and they foster a safe environment for adult learners. My in laws have made wonderful friends with their classmates and look forward to having class each week.
If you know any English language learners, I would absolutely recommend attending here! I would be willing to pay for these classes, but thankfully, they are free!”
