I am a contractor work in Carmel Highlands and needed more paint to finish a job. The designer had ordered all the paint from Kidwell so I gave them a call off the paint can and ordered another can. When I got to the store it was made in the wrong sheen. When I mentioned it they mixed me another gallon then proceeded to charge me for both stating it was my error over the phone and they could not use the paint anymore. I have not run into this at any other paint stores so I assumed they needed to sell the paint more than keep my business. They have lost my contracting business and I will be letting the designer know. I will be sticking with the professional major brand stores.

Great people, excellent service and quality. Top notch. The location was also the original site of Doc Ed Rickett's Marine Biological Laboratory, so there's some rich history associated with the place. Wish more places were as friendly, courteous and professional.

I had a few spray paint cans that were clogged, I called Kidwell Paint Co. and they told me to come in to see what they could do for me. In less than a minute, they were able to unclog my cans with better spray heads, and they didn't charge me a single penny. They were both incredibly nice and very hospitable which seems to be extremely rare quality these days! They are now my #1 go-to-place for anything paint related!

I stopped in here today and was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite spray paint sheen and color, as it is very difficult to find. All of my questions about upcoming projects were expertly answered. The product selection is unsurpassed. This store will now be my first choice for stain and paint products.

I recently took on the challenge of refurbishing a 25+ year old redwood deck that hadn't had much maintenance...the wood was in great condition but badly stained, algae/mold and no preservative left at all. I was referred to Kidwells and was extremely pleased with their service and products. They spend considerable time with me to determine what products would clean and brighten the deck and what stain would work best. The finished deck looks amazing. Thanks Kidwells for your help!
