“I've never had a negative experience in the years we've been using this pharmacy. Yeah the line may be long at times, but patience is a virtue many people have forgotten. Any time I have a question, the pharmacist always makes sure I understand before I leave. They're the most helpful and personable group of people back there. They're also very easy to get ahold of on the phone unlike CVS and other pharmacies I've had to deal with when Rite Aid doesn't have the immediate medication I need.”

“I go to 7-11 every morning, and every day I go, I always have the same lady check me out, and let me tell you Hope is the sweetest lady ever, she's always making conversation and asking how my morning is going. She's always alone in the morning and when she works the store is the cleanest and neatest i've ever seen it, she always has food prepared and is good at handling the morning rush alone, in my eyes she deserves a raise.”

Given they did not respond, he suggested Lyft and soon I was on my way.Meanwhile, he was pleasant, polite, and helpful, proud of the clean and tidy facility where he worked. An amazing and positive experience.”

“There is no Coney Island hot dog stand here, but if you want a tasty hot dog this is a good place to go. The reward program is way cool, because every now and then it's free when you get enough points. They have pizza and chicken wings too, but all I get is the two for three dollar hot dogs and they have a condiment bar, with chili, cheese, onions, peppers and relish, even sauerkraut. Pretty tasty, and for three bucks, wow!”

“The Navy Exchange is another facility that I am grateful still exists. This store is smaller than many other Exchange stores but it's always kept neat and customer service has been good. I've been around long enough to remember the old Exchange in the wood building and the old class six liquor store. That was a long time ago. This current store is clean and still a great place to shop.”

“I had an unexpected and amazing customer service experience! I bought random items for a gift exchange, but I changed my mind later on. This was on a Wednesday night. I went back about 15-20 minutes after the purchase to return the items. The tall male clerk was going to assist me when the female clerk gruffly intervened and said they don’t do returns. No biggie, but I tried to reason with her that she had just rung me up a few minutes ago and still she refused lol. The male clerk kindly advised me to return the following morning so it could happen. Super nice man! I then asked the female clerk for a receipt, but she immediately responded they don’t give receipts. When I told her they should be able to she replied “Well you didn’t ask for one” with an unnecessary attitude. I didn’t care about Miss Grumpy, but I honestly didn’t want to lose money for the items I got! So, I did go back the following morning.Again, I just wanted my money back and didn’t even care about the rude interaction. But I have to say the morning clerks had a completely different demeanor compared to this lady! lol Approachable and helpful. The morning female clerk took down my information and explained she would pass down information to Jasmine (store manager.) I thought nothing was going to come out of it. But Jasmine did call me, on her day off, and even asked me to share my experience with her. Jasmine apologized for the clerk's behavior and granted the return. Tyler handled the return and was also kind about it. It was a pleasant surprise! I didn’t expect such good customer service from a gas station.”

“We were out of town when a family member became ill on a Monday after business hours. He was able to have a telemedicine visit with a doctor who sent a prescription to this pharmacy late in the evening. Within 30 minutes the pharmacy checked insurance coverage, filled it, and got approval for CoVid at-home tests the doctor requested he take before beginning the meds. The pharmacist was extremely helpful, kind, and efficient. I was impressed with the entire store as well—seemed very clean and well-stocked.”

“I haven't seen this store since my parents stopped here a few times when I was ten years old. They didn't like the high prices and shopped in the Santa Cruz CVS on the mall after that. Inflation has changed a lot of the price differences, but not all of them. Who would pay more than 15 dollars for a notebook? This is still one of the best CVS stores in the Monterey area and I think it was open 24 hours a year ago instead of the Lighthouse Ave. location. It's large and has more items in stock and no long lines or freaky characters like you might find afternoons at the South Salinas location. My line was only 2 or 3 customers.”

“I went to the store on November 29, 2023 I had some prescriptions filled, and I was confused by the Teleprompter, but when I finally talked to a real person, they explained that three of the items were over-the-counter I don’t like teleprompters, but I really found the service of the people who worked there above and beyond when I got to the store to pick up my prescriptions, the pharmacist was very helpful and making sure I put in my insurance card so I was charged less money. Additionally, he helped me locate the items that were over-the-counter items, the experience of this pharmacy was really really nice. People were very helpful and very concerned the store was clean. I think this is my favorite CVS on the peninsula now we’re lucky to have it.”

“I was confused between the touchless and works wash. I guess the touch less doesn't use the bristles so it didn't clean my car as well and was still covered in dirt. Jessica the assistant manager was really nice about it gave me a refund. I'll definitely come again to support this shell”

“Yes, Bobby, Nina and Emad, the Pharmacist are always professional, kind and have a joy about them. They always greet me by my name and have a big smile on their faces. And when Jennifer is there, she too is fabulous. My favorite pharmacy. I had all of my prescriptions transferred from another pharmacy so that I would receive excellent customer service. Their accuracy of prescriptions to include letting me know that I might experience some side effects. And to please call them if so. I am very grateful for all of them.
