Adorable place. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Customer service was amazing, the rooms were very clean. A 5 minute walk away from the ocean and about 10 minute drive from Cannery Row. I will be returning.

Unreserved recommendation. Wonderfully located in Pacific Grove. A little away from the hustle and bustle of Monterey. Short drive to downtown Pacific Grove. There is everything you need there. Short walk through a residential area to the beach.
Close proximity to 17 Mile Drive.
Walkability: Walk to Pacific Grove Beach.

Nice little Cottages with enough space. The interior would need a renovation for sure. Most of the furniture is old and interior in the showers is rusty. Definetly overpriced like everything in this area.

Super cute hotel. Each unit has a small house of its own. Equipped with coffee machine and micro combo. The bathroom was large and the room itself was large. It is somewhat remote and therefore in a quiet location and close to nature. Monterey is just a few minutes drive away. Parking spaces are free of charge.

So super cute..... quiet, and they have a little dog park. Not necessarily big enough to throw a ball for your 4 legged friend and it appeared to need some grooming but it's there and useful. Clean, lots of beautiful plants, more of a "villa" kind of feel. They have what looks and feels like a picnic area as well as more private, backyard seating areas to have a little lunch or hangout. The room we had was upstairs. Smaller than we expected and what we've experienced in the past with other locations but it was definitely adequate. The continental breakfast was a great surprise as it's not listed as an amenity. We're going back in June.
Nearby activities: The beach is very near by as well as Monterey Bay and Cannery Row.
Walkability: The walk from Bide-A-Wee to the water was a very pleasant and easy one.

Stayed here recently along with family for a golf trip and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! They are reasonably priced and within walking distance to Pacific Grove golf course. The rooms are a little small but I knew that going in and all I really need is a nice place to sleep and shower. What made this place even better was the nice little picnic area with two picnic tables that each had umbrellas for my family and I to hang out under. It was a cool gathering spot every morning and evening to meet up with everyone. Thank you Bide-a-wee! We will definitely be back ?

We stayed for 2 nights to explore Big Sur. It was a great base.
The hotel ground are lovely, the firepit for evenings was a nice touch.
We had an upstairs room just off reception which was ok, seemed quite dated. It was a bit small and squishy but perfectly comfortable.
The location is perfect though, its in a very quiet area, you can walk to the coast in 10 mins which is a lovely walk.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. This place is quaint and cozy, and very close to the ocean. The cottages themselves are connected to each other, so keep that in mind; although, we rarely heard our neighbors. Parking is very limited, but we were always able to find a spot. When we arrived late on our first night, check-in was easy, but the cottage was freezing cold. All of the baseboard heaters were off. It would have been nice if they would have preheated the cottage for us as it took a very long time to get to a comfortable temperature. The cottage accommodations are basic, but acceptable. There is some wear and tear showing, so it's likely ready for refurbishment with fresh paint and new furniture. Despite the above constructive feedback, we enjoyed our stay in paradise, and would stay at this property again in the future.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! This place was awful and UNSANITARY. I booked it based on the location and the price was not as costly as other places nearby, but sometimes you get what you pay for and this was one of those situations. We walked into our room and immediately I noticed a dead roach or bed bug, Next I noticed the lampshade was dirty, dusty and crooked and the bedding was essentially a throw blanket covered by a sheet. It was all very dirty and dingy and I needed to get out and find another hotel immediately. I went to pick up the phone to call the front staff and explain my concerns and the phone base had scum and hairs stuck to the scum. YUCK! So I decided to walk over to the office in person instead.Dakota, the front staff person, became defensive and argued with me he checked the room himself to make sure it was clean and dismissed my valid concerns about the bugs and the cleanliness. In the end I had booked 2 nights and after going back and forth, they agreed to refund me for 1 night. I still had to pay $217 for 1 night for a dirty motel that I didn't even spend more than 30 minutes at. Plus I had to scramble to find another hotel in the area quickly. Take a lesson from me and avoid this nasty place at all costs!!!! Save your money and look elsewhere!!!

Booked a room, spoke to someone on the phone about my arrival time (prior to 8pm, which was 30 minutes from the time of booking my room). They were perfectly nice about it, was a courteous and routine interaction other than them saying if I Arrived later than 9, the office would be closed. 10 minutes later as I was driving there, they called and canceled. The person I had just spoken to claimed they made a mistake and actually had no rooms available, except for one "really tiny room with almost no space. Like, really really small." I had to pull off the highway in the dark and try to find another place to stay. And when I asked for an immediate reimbursement since I had already provided payment, they emailed and said "we canceled your reservation as you requested on the phone." Sounds like an employee wanted to leave early and not deal with explaining why to their boss. It was pretty rude and caused a lot of stress.
