I used to love this store but just recently and purchased a good amount of pieces. When it was time to ring me up the two older men jockeys about “charging” me for the paper they were wrapping the items in.
The most recent visit one of the same old man kept staring at me as I shopped around. It got so weird I confronted him. He was then annoyed when I wanted to set my items up front while I keep looking.
Because I am a Hispanic woman I felt he was racially profiling me because I didn’t look like a woman who had money.
I do not recommend this store. Very rude. Very disappointed on the employees there.

This used to be my favorite thrift/charity store. Within the past few months, prices are much higher as they list items based on online comparison. Online prices are way overblown and 90% never sell for that higher price.
When shops do this on donated goods, it's a complete turn off. You make more money selling at affordable prices, move inventory much faster and get steady clientele.
Yes, you're donating for a good cause, but you're losing customers and even on the sale days or half off days, it's still too much.
Truly disappointed they got sucked into the Ebay price comparisons. All the shops around here are going in this direction, it's sad.

This thrift shop knocks it out of the park for a thrift store if your looking for quality thrift merchandise only downfall little bit of a higher price range for thrift stores but goes to a good cause . Catch there half off sales twice a year ! Customer service, and there help is wonderful and take care of your needs

The store in Pacific Grove, California is really a wonderful place to shop. The items are great and reasonably price. I bought a beautiful still new black sweater $10 and Red Devil hand vacuum cleaner for only $3, it had all attachments. It is not degrading to go thrift shopping.

It has to be my favorite thrift store in the area! There's always new inventory, and the products are priced fairly. The volunteers are friendly, and they get to know what you're looking for. You never know what you'll find, and you'll probably end up buying much more than what you'd thought.

The workers were really friendly and the store was well laid out. I love going to thrift stores and this one had plenty of parking and was easy to find. Will be back when I am in town again.

It is a very nice thrift store, but very overpriced. They have a Very nice mix of furniture, art, jewelry, kitchenware, tableware, some clothes and other stuff. I hate stores that sort all their clothes by color and not by size. I don't even look at it It just is so frustrating.

Found some shoes that were almost brand new that retail for well over $100 and I only paid $12. You have to look carefully but you will come across a deal like this when you shop here. People that run the store are nice and greeted us when we walked in . Will come back soon to find another deal

This is a wonderful charity shop! They have the kindest staff, great reasonable prices and everything is always clean and well circulated. I shop here all the time and love it!!

Selfishly, I was reluctant to write this review (because I would love to keep this hidden gem to myself)... BUT I know it's challenging to find great thrift stores, and this review could be helpful for potential customers AND the business. My husband and I visited this store while on a weekend trip to Monterey. There were so many beautiful, high-quality, and miscellaneous vintage items. This thrift store supports a great cause, and it's in an area where wealthy donors reside. Of course, items are donation-based so that quality will vary, but at there very least, there are unique items that can be found at a reasonable price and very friendly staff! THE BOTTOM LINE: This is a WONDERFUL thrift store! Whether you are a local or just visiting, I highly suggest you pop in and take a peek - you never know what treasures you may find!
