Rude and dishonest. Made a reservation online, did all the things I was supposed to, shop called late in the day to say I had to do a bunch of other things and couldn't have the truck for the whole reserved period. Some very unpleasant woman on the phone, clearly resentful of customers.

Surprisingly rude and unhelpful. Made a reservation online, did all the things I was told to do, the shop called late in the day to request a bunch of other stuff, way more than any other U haul has ever asked for. The woman on the phone was terrible and said I couldn't even keep the van for the whole time reserved. Avoid.

BEWARE... UNSAFE. VERY DANGEROUS. We called to verify our rental and move up our pickup time by about a half hour. My wife was hung up on once, and the staff was incredibly rude to her. We drove no more than 10 miles and the tire started hissing air. We called the uhaul dealer and they informed us that it was our problem and that we would have to pay for it. Also that we still needed to make our allotted drop off time. When we got the tire off the truck it is readily apparent that the tires are old and cracking. (I have many photos) It is my responsibility to check the outside of the car for damage. It is uhaul's job to supply me with a safe working vehicle. On top of the tire, the check engine light was on saying it needed an oil change. The odometer on the truck was less than 10,000 miles and they clearly put old tires on a newer truck and have no care about customer safety. I am incredibly unhappy with both the lacking customer service and the negligence to not check the safety of the vehicle before renting it and then blaming me. It completely sidetracked our day and could have been easily avoided if employees had completed their commitments. A raised concerns with uhaul and they ignored me for a month.

Rented a U-Haul Truck. Got exactly what I expected. Service was great. Melinda was great! All I can say are good things about my experience there.

I ordered a one-way U-Haul, and Pacheco Mini Storage was my chosen drop-off location. There was a mistake made by the pick-up location, and the drop-off was set for a somewhere else. When I arrived to drop the U-Haul off, I was greeted by an aggressively unhelpful employee who could only repeat "there's nothing I can do" in response to nearly anything I said. At one point, after pushing paperwork off the counter at my wife and repeating her mantra of "there's nothing I can do", the woman stormed out of the office and began escalating the situation by threatening to have the vehicle towed at my expense. There were no other customers on the lot, and there were two employees working. They had time to help resolve the situation, but simply chose not to, and even went the extra mile to make it the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Utterly shameful behavior. Take your business elsewhere.

My Business has used Pacheco Mini Storage for (5) Years because PMS has been cost effective. However, in that time PMS has nickel & dimed us at every opportunity. Usually we like to patron other family owned business; but Pacheco Mini Storage is Awful. Their “Customer Service” is laced with Condescension & Rudeness. Pacheco Mini Storage & the family that runs it are ONLY concerned with the $70-90 they collect from you monthly. They are Poor Communicators, Offer No Support Services, Raise Rates Often & In Our (5) Years Worth of Experiences... Genuinely Don’t Care. Please Use Pacheco Mini Storage at Your Own Risk.

Nice location and affordable prices. I was renting a public storage in San Leandro, in comparison with them Pacheco mini storage is way cheaper. Also almost all the unit are pull up types. Which makes the moving prices very easy and comfortable. The lady on the front is helpful and kind they also offer U-Haul trucks which makes them very comfortable location for moving process.

I chose this small family-run business over big companies nearby to support some real folks. But after years I regret the choice. They have been closed randomly for no reason many times, with a sign saying family emergency. Then there were several months where their phone number was disconnected. There are really bad mice and ants. And they are NOT nice. I thought they were really nice and always really liked them, until I interacted with them more than just paying the rent, and they are very mean and unhappy women. They have been raising their prices, and now they are only open from 9am to 1pm.
I would not recommend them to anyone who needs to access their storage unit. If you are going to put something in there you don't really value and never need access to it, that would probably be fine. But also with how awful of customer service they have and how mean they are in general, I would advise everyone to do their business elsewhere.
