My family's prescriptions were transferred here due to our previous Pharmacy closing. I have noticed prescriptions aren't always being filled correctly, and pills have been missing.
Recently, was on hold for two and a half hours when calling the pharmacy all while the phone said I was supposedly next in line to be answered. I ended up going to the pharmacy while staying on the phone to see what was going on, and was hung up on while I waited in line. While talking to the pharmacist about a prescription that was supposed to have been filled, the pharmacist became extremely argumentative and constantly interrupting me. While I'm aware the prescription not being sent is the doctor's fault, constantly being told that it's not the pharmacy's fault and showing no desire to help and getting in contact with the doctor is aggravating. These were never issues I had with the pharmacy that was open on 5th Street and Ventura.

UPDATE:
I added another star for a total of 2. Since my last review, I have gone to the pharmacy 3 more times and it was a much better and pleasant experience. Hopefully this can continue - across the board with ALL pharm tech/staff.
Unfortunately, this is the closest pharmacy for me to go to. I miss the Vineyard location .. even though it was so rundown and numerous transients hung around the establishment, I could at least rely on the pharmacy dept to provide excellent customer service. Even if they were having a bad day or super slammed ... they still did a stellar job at being professional and greeted u with a smile. I CANNOT say the same for this location on N. Rose. I had two prescriptions to pick up. I go over to pick them up and they aren't there and was told that i didnt have any pending prescriptions. I go onto my account/app on my phone and also have a copy of the prescription my Dr provided and so i go over to the pharmacy again to double check. When i showed the info, the pharm tech asks.. do you have the correct pharmacy? I showed her the pharmacy number #11707 (n rose location) she continues to tell me that they don't have anything in their system so I asked - okay do I reach out to my dr and inform them? She totally dismisses my question and tells me that I already picked up a prescription which I told her yes I did but that's not the one I am asking about. Then she keeps stating for me to check if I have the correct walgreens. So I show her my phone/app.. again it shows 11707 and the physical address and I ask.. isn't this here? She said yes it's this one.. so I asked okay since u said u think it's at south rose can u look info up for them? All of a sudden she tells me "Your prescription needs prior authorization and we faxed that info to your doctor" and then I asked.... oh you were able to see that? You were able to look that up? And it's for this location? She said yes.... like what?!??! You originally said you can't see anything, wanted to dismiss me, even asking if I had the correct pharmacy address. If she had just looked more into it from the get go and she had told me this, then that would have been okay. BUT NO she didn't want to take extra step to explain what had happened. How unprofessional!! How utterly lazy and incompetent of this person. Why even work in pharm when you make it so clear you don't want to be there. Funny enough, this person has had other people cuss at her and been upset with her. I didn't think I would ever deal with her in that way since my meds/prescriptions are so easy/common but damn. Really disappointing.

if the cashier have to warn customers that the gift cards we’re buying will most likely get hacked and have our money stolen WHY is Walgreens still selling gift cards to the public? IF IT happens so often shouldn’t they be pulled from the floor?? it’s such an odd customer experience to be told “if you get your money stolen we are not going to do nothing about it that’s on you” when buying a gift card? and yeah i decided to brush it off and get my gift cards and sure and behold, my money got stolen. DONT BUY GIFT-CARDS AT THIS LOCATION

Today, I encountered the most unsatisfactory customer service from a pharmacy technician named Nate. His discriminatory attitude and demeanor indicate that he is not suitable for customer service. The lack of professionalism is evident in the manner in which he pointed his finger while addressing me. Nate should not be employed at Walgreen pharmacy, as his inadequate customer service has tarnished the company's reputation.

Walgreens pharmacy has been backed up lately. I recommend downloading the app or logging into the website to check the status and/or refilling of your medication. These past few days have been busy, and I came about three times. All three times, there was more than 4 people in line inside at a time.
The actual store (not the pharmacy) has also been very busy as the lines tend to pick up around specific times. One moment you have no one in line and then suddenly there's 7 people waiting to be checked out.
I'm not sure if it's just more people being out at the stores. I have been noticing fuller parking lots everywhere. Maybe things are just picking up for the start of summer.

Came into the store last night, a guy was clearly stealing, and he started to give one of the employees I think her badge said Jennifer problems calling her inappropriate names and just yelling at her, I could tell she got frustrated because she started to yell at him back and it just became a screaming match, and her men co-workers were just staring not helping her at all, or at least trying to calm the guy down, this store definitely needs security. Not even about stealing at this point, the workers here need protection from crazy guys like these

I hope they can fix this store now that they have fewer locations in the area to focus on. Especially with how poor the service is at their pharmacy. I'm one of the unfortunate customers transferred from the wallgreens on N. Ventura Rd. Coming from a corporate analyst background, I understand that poor performing stores/lack of traffic to substantiate the overhead or not meeting monthly sales goals, the store is a liability.
It's also noted that a failure in performance on the project management team/corporate side can be detrimental to a brand. It seems that either way you look at it, It's an overall failure in customer service. The same thing that drives customers away from brands.
That being said, I hope Wallgreens is able to provide this store with more or more efficient staff. The clerks on the store side are wonderful. The Pharmacy on the other hands, needs help in a big way.

Thomas (what my receipt said) the heavy set white male, was very rude. I was told to come back after an hour to pick up my passport picture which would be at 2:50pm. Thomas did not look up at me or greet me or anything. I told him I was there to pick up my picture and he says "I don't take pictures no one does" I was VERY patient and polite and said I was told to come back after an hour. He said everyone was on lunch and kept "filing" papers ignoring me. I asked when they would be back and he said possibly 30mins. He then reluctantly tells me he would look for my picture but he doubts that it'll be there. He finally finds it and says "Oh it's not done". He finishes my transaction and mumbled "Go to the front reigster" Due to his lack of eye contact and mumbling I asked him to repeat himself and he defiantley repeated himself. I highly suggest you reprimand front desk employees as they are the face of your company. I will now be going to Staples for these matters in the future.

Store is always well picked up and neat, parking is sometimes crazy but manageable. Kinda lacks variety on certain items. But overall 7 out of 10 time I'd return
