VISTA PAINT is the rigth paint store to go to … the staff is very helpful, customer service is superb ,my sales rep Christina always helpful with paint recommendations and making sure we get the best deals available I highly recommend this store for any paint purchase Asi for the Johnny the best color matched in the Ventura county .

Wonderful customer service. I called on my way there to buy some paint and was getting there right at closing time on a Friday night and they stayed open a couple minutes longer for me! Thanks again guys!

Love the paint, the workers in the store are knowledgeable and friendly. I was told Lisa, who is a paint manager for the store, also provided the paint crew that did my house. Crappiest paint job ever. Paint was chipping off my brand new cabinets 2 weeks after we moved in. There were streaks in the paint.Because, I was getting jerked around, I contacted the area manager for Vista. Strange, suddenly Lisa, the contractor and the cabinet maker all denied she was the boss of the paint crew. I was then told some guy named Eric hired the paint crew. He doesn't even live in the area. He lives way up north. I was then told Lisa was just helping out the contractor because he was on vacation. Sounds nice, but untrue. Lisa was here weeks before he left. The doors were taken over to another vacant house in the neighborhood and painted there. Some of the cabinets are not repainted because they can't be removed. I threatened the contractor I would be going to the Contractor's Licensing Board and he would be made part of my complaint, since he is supposed to oversee everything being done and done correctly. He got the owner of the paint company Eric to come out to my house on his way up north. He had no idea that a job was even done here. He made the comment that had he known, he would have not allowed them to paint here because the people are old and in bad health. Yep. he actually said that, because we live in a retirement community. He said he can't afford to pay a paint crew and Lisa hangs around because she wants to sell paint. He didn't even know if the paint came from Vista or from Sherwood Williams. (My bathroom cabinet Varnish definitely was from Sherwood Williams, because Lisa sent me there to get the color stain chart when I was deciding what colors for the bathroom) So, who knows where the truth may lay? If Lisa works for Vista why would she send me to another store? I did ask Lisa, the contractor and the cabinet maker when they were standing in front of me while the painters were here when the kitchen was being painted the first time why were the painters all wearing Sherwood Williams t-shirts since they worked for Vista? I was told they received the shirts for free. Made sense, so I didn't think anything about it. Whatever. That is between Vista, Lisa, the contractor and karma. I am just so sorry Vista was dragged into this and misrepresented to me. I did get a 5 year guarantee on the paint job. whoopie. It should last 15 years if done correctly. I absolutely will continue to use Vista. The paint on my walls is perfect. The contractor definitely used Vista paint, because I picked it out. He and his worker did the painting. So entirely different situation.
