Pros: Gym is clean and lots of cardio equipment to use. Childcare hours are pretty flexible compared to other gyms. Cons: customer service/management. I bought a training package and the trainer I used at the time was great and worth it. But I knew if he left, I would have to use my package with another trainer. He left and management said they would arrange another trainer. Twice I showed up at the time I was told to show and no trainer showed up. The front desk didn't know what to do and all the managers were "occupied." No explanation or respect for my time. I asked a manager to call me to discuss my options and still haven't heard anything. These "no show" appointments were over a week ago. It was not a cheap package and it's incredibly unprofessional how things have been handled.

Love love love this gym. It is a bit pricey, but I do feel that you get what you pay for. What's really convenient are there are different membership types depending on your budget. They have a vairety of different classes as well, HIIT, boxing, yoga, Zumba, spin, jiu Jitsu etc. They also have Access to a sauna, cryotherapy, red light therapy, massage chairs, and Thera massage guns. Not to mention a wide variety of equipment both indoors and outdoors. This place has everything I look for in a gym, AND it's always clean. I've tries many of the gyms in the area and this is the best I've tried.

Don and Bash made my experience with UFC great and very easy to want to continue my journey of fitness. Don assisted with my membership and signed me up with Bash for my one on one training. Both of them went over all the details of members and training routines. Neither of them made me feel pressured or overwhelmed like some other gyms that try to push on extra programs or fees. I will definitely continue to come and recommend this gym for anyone that wants to work on their fitness.

This gym is exceptional! The clean, well-maintained equipment makes every workout enjoyable and motivating. The outdoor space is a standout feature, allowing me to exercise in fresh air, which enhances my overall experience. There’s something refreshing about working out surrounded by nature. The gym's commitment to cleanliness and upkeep truly creates a comfortable atmosphere, making it easy to focus on fitness. I always leave feeling energized and inspired! Highly recommend!

Bought a massage gun from them was broken out of the box, tried returning it they denied me and told me I would personally have to send it to the manufacturer. I confronted them about their return policy as they was not any signs posted they told me it stated on the receipt there are no refunds but if I have to buy something in order to get a receipt how is that informative at all. They also charged me a late fee for the annual fee because my card declined the first time they ran it again the same day and it went through, they told me they would refund the fee and never did.

Wonderful Gym and patrons, extremely clean
God awful customer service, especially when it comes to a billing issue. As mentioned in other reviews, you will get the run around and deceptive salesmanship from their staff.
I canceled my membership and found a charge on my credit card 3 months later. When I attempted to contact the manager Denise she failed to respond to my multiple emails and phone calls for 14 calendar days. Not even a simple acknowledgement.
I finally got fed up and went into the gym to deal with the issue in person. I was saddened when I didn't get to meet Denise because she was on "leadership retreat". Thankfully the front desk staff could help me, but not in time to prevent my card from getting charged for the next month of service that I previously canceled.
Denise finally emailed me 14 days after my original email. Saying nothing but generic answers and not reading any of the previous emails explaining my situation, she went ahead and canceled my membership (that her staff helped cancel the other day) making it seem like she actually did something.
Of course after sending her a follow up she called me back right way and wanted to talk.
Dear owner of UFC Oxnard, your gym itself is great, top notch equipment and facilities, front desk staff are helpful and friendly, cleaning crew does the best job of any gym I have ever seen. However, your customer service and management are lack luster and need to be changed.

Great gym, super clean, employees at the front are always super friendly and Don is great. Can get a bit busy but I guess it’s to be expected with a good gym in Oxnard. Only thing I could complain about would maybe be the music choice is the not best at times but as long as you bring a pair of headphones it’s a non issue. Really appreciate the cleaning crew, always working hard!

Second what everyone is saying about their deceptive billing practices!! This gym is nothing but a scam. I signed up for a 2 year membership, when it was time to sign the contract, i pointed out the expiration date was blank. The salesman said don't worry about it, it is a two-year contract. Seventeen months later I get a text message reminding me my membership will expire in a month. I spoke to management and politely told them there was a mistake. They pulled up the contract I signed and now the expiration date was filled in - for 18 months. The manager apologized for my inconvenience and generously told me that he would happily accept my payment (at full price) for the next six months if I wanted to actually use the membership that I had already paid for. Is it my fault for signing a contract with a blank space? Absolutely! That does not excuse them for doing what they did. My advice to anyone wanting to sign up for this scam/gym is to read the contract carefully and refuse to sign if anything is blank. Before you do that though, ask yourself why do you want to do business with a place if you have to read the contract carefully?
