SUPER EXTRA NOT GOOD! check the BBB.org site for reviews and complaints filed against this dealership in 2022 alone! It's appalling ...they are an appalling excuse for a professional business of any kind. I tried to buy a car from them - ended up paying for it in cash.... never getting possession of it because only after I buy it do they find it is defective and cannot be sold ... BUT they had it on their lot for FOUR MONTHS! INEXCUSABLE. The person that accompanied me on the test drive didn't know anything about it and thru the whole ordeal I never got a tour of the car or any explanations at all. After the test drive we plugged it in because it had only 5 miles range.???? But when I returned the next day with cash - and having given 24 hour notice to prepare for the sale, the car was still not charged ????? and they couldn't find the keys!! But before that ... They strung me along for 2 hours in an empty lot with over 10 staff in sight WANDERING AROUND, before anyone tried to help me... then the finance guy added back the cost of an accessory I didn't want or approve for over $400 and called it "fees" ... THE PRICE BREAKDOWN SHOWING THIS ACCESSORY COST WAS SIGNED BY AN UNKNOWN PERSON! I never saw the breakdown sheet before and it was signed by - NOT ME. I waited all day Christmas Eve to hear back from the dealership about why the car wasn't charged and delivered .... only to be told (after I called and left a VM never answered, that I was pulling out) they could not sell it because the charging system was dead and they would refund me. It is now 4 days later and I STILL DON'T HAVE MY MONEY THAT I GAVE IN CASH and only now did they call to say they ARE TODAY REQUESTING A CHECK - I SHOULD HAVE IT IN 3-4 DAYS!!????? Reading the BBB reviews as I filed my formal complaint (1 or many) I noticed they practice this horrifically unprofessional and incompetent way as a rule ... at least as of this year! I READ 5 OTHER COMPLAINS IN 2022 THAT SP9OKE OF THE SAME OR VERY SIMILAR POOR AND FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOR. I have filed against them for UNPROFESSIONALISM FRAUDULENT EXTRA CHARGES SEXISM AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE INCOMPETENCY LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF PRODUCT RUINING MY HOLIDAY AND WASTING MY TIME, +2 MAKING ME WAIT TOO LONG FOR MY REFUND (especially as I had given them cash!!) I HAVE ALSO REQUESTED THE BBB REVOKE THEIR RATING THA HAS STOOD UNCHALLENGED SINCE 1971 AND NO LONGER APPLIES TO THE DEALERSHIP ... AS IT HAS SOLD TWICE TO MAJOR COPRS: DCH THEN LILITH DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY NEED TO BE CLOSED DOWN.

Richard hooked us up with a bad ass truck. He was professional, responsive, and made everything easy for us. Next time we are in the market, we will be back and asking for Richard to find us another great vehicle!

I stop by because i was looking for a Toyota Corolla Hatchback and i called before to see if they have any on display. The lady on the phone was nice and she said yes. So i went to check out the car. I decided to enter the facility and they were having a xmas party which i understand its the holiday season so i just waited outside for a minute, i was considering their xmas party. After 20 min. Outside just checking on cars and walk around. I went inside and i stood there, all the employees (around 60) were seating down, i was standing in front and no one came up to me asking if i need help. So i waited and some guy wearing a black jacket asked me "hey" i was nice and i asked "hey i was looking to see if you guys have any toyota corolla hatchback on display" he reply did you looked? I was like yes. And he said we don't have any new, i was like what do you have? And he is like we don't have any. But he didn't even check on the inventory. So he was about to leave and then i asked is there anyone that can help me. He was No they are having a xmas party. I was like oh ok. I asked what time can i can help. He reply in about 1 hour. So i just left. Just to reming you when they need business they be calling you non stop or texting you or bugging you saying "you are pre approve" when they don't need you they just ignore you.

Jack from service department lacks customer service and rudely interrupts the conversation. Also lacks knowledge and says his busy so he can avoid to explain! His behavior was the worst I have experience!

The last two visits to DCH Toyota of Oxnard have been extremely disappointing; I've been taking my Sequoia for service here for years and figured that I had one bad experience and that might have been a one off-anomaly. I use my vehicle for my work so it's important that I have it back fairly quickly. The first poor experience was a few weeks ago, I had to replace the battery out of town and the repair shop did not reset the computer, I brought it in to DCH to only reset the computer and it took them less than an hour, but charged me $400.00 to do so. My last experience was even worse, I had to replace my starter motor and brought it in the morning, I explained to my representative: Jose that I needed my vehicle ASAP but that I was going to rent a car for the day and ideally needed the car back that evening, he said that he thought he could get it finished by end of the business day...I asked him to call as soon as he knew anything. After 4 hours and hearing nothing I decided to call him, he explained to me that the part was backordered and it would be at least 3 days....I again explained to him that I needed my vehicle for work and needed my car back the next day at the latest. I also knew that this part was common, so I called another dealership and they told me that they could have it in the morning. Jose also called me back and said that he now could have the part "overnighted and at the shop by 7am", (he quoted me a price of $1025.00) (why didn't he do this the first time???). The next day, after not hearing anything @ 10:30 am I called to check on my car, he says the part hasn't arrived, I asked him to call me as soon as it does because I needed to make rental arrangements for the next day if I wasn't getting my car back....I hear nothing from him until 4:30 pm, but now he says the car is ready! I asked to speak to the service MGR. "Case?" explaining all this to him he apologizes and says "he's new", says that he'll try to compensate me and adjust the bill. I come down the next morning and now the bill $1350.00 and he says that he discounted it by $165.00.00 and that it was originally $1515.00. $500.00 more than they quoted me! When we were debating about the price the mgr also stated that he would charge me whatever the "industry standard" was no matter if his team did the job in half the time, why would he charge me lass just because his team works fast"!!! And he also stated that "it is what is".... Let it be known that this dealership will gouge you and their customer care is absolutely horrible....do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I've seen good reviews regarding the sales team; if you're looking for service I would strongly advise anyone to go search out a more ethical operator. I will be escalating this.

I've been buying cars for decades and have used many different dealers through the years. I must admit these guys went the extra mile when the warranty company couldn't show any proof of my contract and I was facing a hefty bill. Like a military operation the whole dealership was abuzz in getting me satisfied by approving my bill before authorization came through. It's nice to know, in this day and age, a man's word and his handshake, was enough for the dealership to gamble the cost of repairs, instead of being shortsighted, mistrusting and cold the misfortunes of one of their customers. The way they hustled to get me back on the road, you'd think I was their best customer. It was my first visit. Kudos to that crew running the show .

This is a STEALership, not a dealership. Called about a vehicle I was interested in, and was listed at msrp. When I talked to a sales rep on the phone now they decided to tell me about the $16,000 markup they add! People don't buy from these stealerships, they're price gouging, and it's unacceptable! Don't buy, and leave a bad review so they don't get away with this. This is taking advantage of people, as if the current price inflation wasn't bad enough! #STEALership

Do Not I repeat do not do business with these people! The list price is not what you will pay. They will add BS accessory fees! They will make you an offer and when you don't finance try and rip you off by adding more fees. Oscar the Manager is rude and won't listen to you. He will say one thing and do another. Do not do business here!

Shocking. In today's service-oriented marketplace, I tried for three days to buy a car from them. I was trying to do it online. Spoke to 5 different sales people. I had $10,000 to put down, on a used 2018 Ford F-150. Even Christian (the service manager) was unwilling to make it happen in a timely manner. After already expressing to him my frustration about his team's ineptitude when it comes to follow-up. Oh, and by the way, I have an 800 credit score. Should be the easiest transaction in the world to complete. After 5 hours of waiting today, after giving them all of my financial information, Christian told me they were too busy to get it done. Standing here with money, wanting to buy a car from you, and you're too busy to make it happen? It's no shock that they have only 3 stars. Don't bother trying to buy from this company. A company this bad doesn't deserve ANY of our business.

Do not believe the lie that you need to buy a vehicle service contract (VSA) on new vehicles when purchasing a new vehicle. Further, if you need to cancel said service agreement, do not trust DCH to do it for you. The F&I rep, Johnny, lied and gaslighted us into buying a 10-year premium VSA (only option presented). He said we had to purchase the VSA at the dealership that day or it wouldn't be an option. He also said it was easy to cancel. After looking closer at the TFS website later, it was very clear that we could have waited until up to the expiration of the manufacturers bumper to bumper warranty (3 years 36k miles). I confronted Jonny on this over email and he doubled down on the lie saying it was a not the same warranty, but agreed to proceed with the VSA cancelation. I checked in with him 6 weeks later since I hadn't seen anything come through on the loan and he said it takes a few months. Almost six months later (today) I called TFS directly and they said no request of cancellation had been received. They were very helpful in clearing things up and proceeded with the cancellation. They also confirmed my earlier suspicious that VSA contract DON'T have to be purchase at the dealer or at the time of vehicle purchase. Hoping for a future where everyone moves to the Tesla sales model because dealerships are the worst and this is my worst dealership experience. I do want to say that it was a great experience until meeting with F&I. There were quite a few people who were incredibly helpful along the way but the final mile ruined everything.

I went in to test drive a vehicle and the kind shuttle driver who saw me looking for a salesperson led me to David Luks. I have yet to find a more impolite, disconnected, or misinformed salesperson between the Bay Area and Los Angeles (the geographic span of dealerships I visited before coming to DCH Toyota of Oxnard). David did not know the cost of the car, features on the car as we test drove (struggled to find the mileage on the car or how to put it in eco mode), and throughout the interaction acted like he was doing me a favor by letting me test drive his car. He complained about me not being able to disengage the parking break by the pedals and made zero effort to inform me about the car ("I don't know anything about this car. I drive a Camry. I don't know why people buy Prius' ."). This type of customer interactions are unacceptable even if he is a New Yorker at heart.

I have been leasing and buying my trucks from DCH Oxnard Toyota since 1998. I started with the 1998 T-100, graduated to Tacoma's and finally Tundra's then back to Tacoma's. (There was one Camry during Covid but I missed my trucks so much I traded it back. I have lost count on how many trucks but that's not the point. The vehicles had to have service and the only place I brought them was to DCH Toyota of Oxnard. My service advisor all these years has been Bob Cobos and he's the main reason I return to the store. Bob has been with DCH Toyota of Oxnard for so many years it's hard to count but I can promise you this. Bob will always take care of you and your car with a pleasant smile and truly treat you like your business means something to him and Toyota. Bob takes the pain out of having to take the time to have your vehicle serviced and he's always honest about what they did for service and what might need attention. As long as I'm driving Toyota's I will always bring my trucks to Bob Cobo's. My family thanks you Bob for taking such good care of us !

Started using DCH Toyota of Oxnard during the pandemic for service and always found them friendly and responsive. Today topped it - I'm trying to squeeze in one last service & detail before I move across country tomorrow and I found out the detailing means I won't get my car back until 5pm. One thing I need to do today is ship a half-dozen boxes while I wait a few weeks for my containers to arrive, and when Jasmin found out, she offered to help me out with a rental, but not just any rental, a truck do I only will need to take one trip with the boxes! Thank so much for providing stellar customer service!
