I was just in the store looking around checking out prices and as I go down a aisle I hear over the intercom "Security scan all aisle SERCURITY!" Apparently because I'm in all black wearing my hoodie up I must be stealing. Disrespectful,profiling to say the least, & uncalled for. I won't be in that store again if this is how they treat people.

From my understanding Smart & Final use to be a supplier to other grocery outlets, which is why you’ll find at least half of all grocery items here have a bulk option which is typically a very good deal. I really like the sweet & salty Nature Valley bars (Almond) and they sell a 36 pack for 13.99-14.99 depending on if it’s on sale, but anywhere else including here there’s a 6 and 12-pack here that are $5 and $7.50, respectively. So you can see why, if you can afford it Smart & Final is a great place to shop if you like to get a discount for buying in bulk. Not in similar to Costco except you don’t need to be a member to shop here. One thing that can be frustrating is the time you spend in checkout lines if you go during busy hours which is most of the day I guess, but I still find the value to be worth the minor inconvenience.

I come to this store very often - and I’m just gonna say two things. Firstly I do like it and prices are fair - but dude. They almost ALWAYS have very long lines - like having to wait 15 minutes standing in line to pay at the register. They REALLY should have more employees to work the register. I’m here now - there are two lines and they both have about 12 people standing in line as I write this review. Good store - TERRIBLY LONG LINES. Year round.

This place is hit or miss...your either going to find everything your looking for, BUUUT your going to wait in a looong line or you will find a few items and check out fast theres no happy balance...store is clean and nicely stocked my only gripe is seeing them throw away organics in the alley instead of donating to a food bank or our local homeless (sad emoji) other than that its a great place to shop!
