I made a decision yesterday. I went into Sam's Club and canceled my membership. Here's why....I've had a membership to both Sam's Club and Costco for several years. Costco since it was Price Club.
Sam's Club has similar items in the store. Some might be a little bit cheaper (not by much). Most are comparable.
At Sam's, the checkout lines are extremely long because they only have a few checkout lanes open at one time, unless it's around the holidays. Receipt checkouts are average to Costco. While Sam's Club has similar items at the food court, they are not the same quality. Have you had a hot dog from Costco? This also goes for the meat department and Member's Mark products. They are definitely not up to the high standards of Costco.
While I've bought clothes at Costco, I would never buy them at Sam's Club (cheaply made). The way Costco treats their employees is on another level compared to Sam's. I don't see many of the same employees at Sam's year after year except for the greeter (lady) at the front door. Costco, most have been there for decades. They pay their employees above what Sam's does. When you see a store, with very little turn-over in regrds to employees, that says a lot about that company!

Used to enjoy Sam's club rotisserie chicken.The flavor and price. Delicious untill today I bought a rotisserie chicken for lunch.
Uncovered ate straight out container and closed. Later on open again ate a peice and a fly came out if cavity.i never left it open and unattended. And customer service says it happened at my house. Customer service transferred me to manager. Manager never answered phone or return my call.please don't take chance with Sam's club in Oxnard with the rotisserie chicken.search the inside cavity of chicken before eating. ?? canceling Sam's membership. Going to COSTCO!!!!

I have been a Sams Club customer for many years but today and it is not the first time they do this today I bought a refrigerator and I had it. Waiting for more than 1 hour, they never gave me an explanation, I asked for my money to transfer and I didn't even receive an apology. It's not the first time they've done this. I don't recommend it to buy anything big. You'll have to wait. Too long ⏱️

If you are truck driver for delivery skip this place make sure you spend huge time. They take care of locals no OTR drivers. Unorganized place for sure

Sams club is great . Love their prices and the store , hours and all . I tried pickup and it was hard to find a parking space . Most people part there to go shopping not for pick up . Not sure how but somehow Sam’s needs to make sure people don’t use the pickup spots as parking spots . Employee told me they had trouble with people not leaving pickup spots for cu side pickup
