Primary Medical is such a frustrating organization. Don't get me wrong my experience with the doctors and nurses has been positive, however there receptionists make it very difficult at times. They don't follow up when they say they will. On top of that there's been several different times where they've given me wrong information or have pointed me in the wrong direction. To make matters worse they're often very rude and almost borderline confrontational. They can't be bothered and seem to act like they're doing me a favor whenever I come in or try to schedule an appointment. The office staff seems to be unprofessional and generally provide a negative experience.

I have been Faithfully coming back to see Dr. DeJong. Dr. DeJong has helped my health so much since started seeing him!!! I started having major health issues in 2018, was diagnosed with pancreatitis in 2021 and had surgery. But even after surgery I started to have complications, after finding Dr. DeJong he has helped to find me answers to my health crisis and he does not stop trying to find answers. I truly believe this doctor is God Sent and I'm very thankful to have found him. He's a walking miracle. Do not go anywhere else, the best MD is right here in Ventura County! God Bless you Dr. DeJong much prosperity and love to you!!!

I made an appointment today at 9:00 I arrived at my 9am. I watch everyone before I arrived be seen. At 9:40 a man was seen for his 9:50 appointment. I ask when I would be seen, i was told my appointment was for 9:20am, and I would have to wait further. Very unprofessional and unpleasant. Never had such unprofessional interactions.

My girlfriend had a horrible experience with the office staff. She arrived at 10am for her appointment and was told it was at 1:40pm. Which was wrong. The receptionist was wrong and didn't not check with anyone else. She said she asked someone but she didn't. Dr. Diaz was also disappointing for not listening to his patients concerns and being quick to dismiss them. They're customer service is below one star.

I love Dr. Duong! He keeps things real. I got my blood work back and discovered that I’m allergic to 3 of my favorite foods: cow’s milk, shrimp, and peanuts. He told me to take the results as a grain of salt because there are varying levels of allergic reactions, and mine (to those foods) is like minor. But honestly I’ve mostly cut out those foods from my diet and I’ve had no regrets. I appreciated his honesty, but I also wanted to take better care of my health, so I’ve been going non dairy milks, consuming sheep’s milk or goat’s milk cheeses, sticking to salmon (instead of shrimp), and sticking to dark chocolate covered pistachios (everything else had milk or peanuts in it ?)

This is the worst office/medical group I have ever been so unfortunate to have recieved care from. The office staff is full of very rude, uncaring people. They are snarky, and don't listen. I went to both Oxnard and Ventura offices and both were poor in basic office duties like transferring records, filling prescription and general care. They treat you like its the DMV and it appears they take pride in creating an uncomfortable, and uncaring environment. My insurance called me to inform me they will no longer work with Primary Medical due to unprofessional behavior and lack of professionalism from their office staff. They ignored six request for paperwork, and only sent it when I called. Then when they did send it they only sent one side of all the paperwork. The manager wagged her finger at me and refused to do her job when I came down to the office. I can't say it enough don't go here. They will do the bare minimum, the doctors will play like they don't know anything. They will give you poor care, sneak in charges for paperwork. The office manager is unorganized, rude and flat out incompetent. Save your hard earned money and seek out a different place because everywhere else is better. They don't care about their patients and have no business being in the medical profession. I am never going back.

My family , friends and I went to the Johnson Drive location . They got very rude over there and we transferred to the Lombard Location. At first it was a little better the office staff seemed nicer . As we continued to go it was a nightmare . The doctor never called us for follow ups, blood test , medicine refills ... nothing . We had to call and when we called for simple things like a blood pressure medicine refill the office staff was rude , took days to refill medicine etc . I had heard rumors that these people are only nice to their friends and family , but chose not to believe them ... I guess I should of . Also, the doctor and office staff pretend to take notes when you go in person but every time you go in they ask you the same thing! My grandmother fell on her porch and we told them that story every-time we went !!!! I guess if it was just the doctors being a little rude we would have stayed but the office staff for the primary care offices is horrible. They are rude , disrespectful , roll their eyes , and to fax or email papers to your insurances or employers takes months if it's done because most of the time they don't send papers and charge . I would never recommend primary care to any of my loved ones , my family, friends and I have left this place ... best decision ever made !

If I could give a zero star I would. The staff is dishonest and lie to cover up how bad and lazy they are. Refilling prescription is a nightmare. The office manager and her employee Rey took two months to send in paperwork I paid for and requested twice. I almost got my disability insurance claim canceled because of their poor care. Don't go here unless you need a headache. They treat you like you are at the DMV. Yuck all around, horrible experience.

I am impress w Dr Duong. He was casual, precise, and quick. He runs around with his laptop which has all my biodata, enters all referals. Its all printed by the time you leave the observation room. very cool.

I was quite impressed with you him to be a young doctor his wisdom surpasses his age. Without a doubt I will assure you he will be one of the greatest physicians to lead his generation his concern for his patients , as well as his philosophy that he works for the patient is extraordinary in today’s medical world. I’m extremely impressed as a new patient to this facility and I find this young doctor to be impeccable.

Another great experience at Primary Medical. Dr Douong and staff are always thorough, kind and detail oriented. Dr D does a great job listening and advising best course of treatment for any ailments. I have referred several family members to him who are also very happy with their care.

It was my first time. I am very happy with Dr Ruelas. I felt very comfortable with him i went a little overboard with more than one issue. I have an appointment in two weeks. I hope he stays with pmg for a long time. I recommend him to anyone.
