Whoever uses this company would be a fool, they make more excuses about deliveries and pickups that I've ever heard Do not use Old Dominion try to find a shipping company that makes an effort to get the job done.

Absolutely the worst. They lie about their arrival estimates and don’t show up even when you have a scheduled delivery date with them. Do not do business with these people.

Have had two separate shipments from ODFL. They were both the same and the second was actually a replacement from the first that arrived broken. Needless to say the second was also damaged, this time not broken beyond functionality. I went through the claims process for the first item, even opened a BBB claim. They refused payment for it and luckily the manufacturer sent us a replacement on their dime but horrible that not once but twice ODFL delivered damaged goods.

AVOID UNLESS YOU WANT TO ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY AS TO HOW YOUR PACKAGE ARRIVES. We had the great misfortune as to having a custom table and bench sent to us using ODFL and more specifically their local Oxnard office. The carpenter from which we ordered the parcel gave implicit directions to not sign for the package until we unpacked and inspected everything. When the ODFL driver arrived he refused to allow us to inspect the package and said that it was against company policy. (This is not entirely true as after speaking with corporate you are entitled to if there is visible damage to the parcel, which we could not see under the outer bubble wrap layer.) So we signed for the package and the driver hurriedly left before we were given a copy of the shipping confirmation and the liability was only on a small handheld device. Upon opening the bench we found that one of the legs was completely broken off from the bench and there were punctures in the box under the shrink wrap. After calling the company's regional office and being told too bad that we had already signed and the carpenter from which we ordered, that said that we had implicit directions from them not to sign until we had investigated I had the misfortune of speaking with Angelica again at the Oxnard office about it and she basically directed me to corporate to file a claim, which after speaking to corporate it is unlikely that it would be filled after being reviewed. My impression is that the driver knew something was wrong with the package or something happened. Whether this is true or not I guess is the reason we are stuck with a custom built bench for our dining set that we have been waiting months for that is broken and we have no way of getting reimbursed for it. So thank you Angelica for making it very clear your divisions customer concerns are not anything that you want to deal with and you are satisfied shipping broken parcels to the end customer because where the damage occurred could not be proven. Just like some of the other review have stated, sneaky and untrustworthy. Avoid business here if you have the chance.

My product arrived at their facilities three days ago. I called them before they even called me to schedule a delivery. The delivery was rescheduled multiple times yet they have not sent it out for delivery at the scheduled times or the scheduled dates. Wake up, guys.

I've seen some negative reviews for this nationwide company, Old Dominion Freight. I can't say much about the company itself other than they did what they said they would do. I'm sure every location has it's ups and downs but this review is for the Carson office/dispatch location.

I've seen some negative reviews for this nationwide company, Old Dominion Freight. I can't say much about the company itself other than they did what they said they would do. I'm sure every location has it's ups and downs but this review is for the So Cal office/dispatch location. My driver/deliverer, Victor, ran a bit late but I was informed of this situation hours before. He went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations for my 800-pound delivery. "Curbside" delivery is all I paid for and was exactly what I was thinking. My package consisted of three 8'x3' boxes each weighing around 250 pounds. There was no way I was going to get these up my driveway and over to the final resting point on my own, so I expected to open each box remove a few pieces at a time and lug them up. I'm guessing it would have taken me 2-3 hours. Victor had no obligation to do anything more than curbside, but he offered to use his pallet jack to carry the boxes up my steep 100' driveway. He placed them exactly where I wanted them and was on his way with a handshake and a smile. Old Dominion has at least one great one employee!!

Sneaky & untrustworthy. I wouldn't do business again. Carrier brought a pallet & it was short & damaged. He obviously knew this as he drove away in a hurry.
