I took my my 3rd gen tacoma to get regeared . The job took a couple of days after a week of driving the front axle had a leak. I ended up buying the OEM seal and they installed it at NO CHARGE to make things right. They said if any other issues occur feel free to bring it back. I would recommend this shop for any regear or drive shaft repairs to my buddies in future.

I needed the driveshaft on my project hotrod lengthened by a couple of inches so went shopping for a driveline service shop. I found Montalvo's thru Google and gave Juan a call. He was very knowledgeable and has many years of experience in the business. He did an amazing job of welding a new tube on with the most perfect welds I have ever seen. He also helped me with a u-joint problem I wasn't aware I had. This shop is the best!

I had Juan fix the double cardan joint on the driveshaft on my daughter's S10. His prices are very competitive, service and advice were exceptional and he fixed it that day! I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him.

Totally reliable business! I have had Juan repair or make at least four driveshafts for me. He is fast he's friendly and his driveshafts work great. I have an Ultra4 off-road vehicle that I race at King of the Hammers and this is where I go to get my driveshafts. One of the best things about this shop is it their prices are extremely competitive. In fact you're the best prices I found. I highly recommend this business specifically for driveshafts.

I was in need of a LSD install for my Ram truck. Growing up in Ventura County, there was only two shops that I knew of, locally was Coast Driveline and out of town, Hoopers. Well not anymore. Within the last year, I noticed that Montalvo's shop name was being circulated among the local Toyota 4x4 enthusiasts. So I knew of it. But when I asked my close hotrod buddies about differential work, they all said Juan was there go to guy as well. I gave Juan a call and he scheduled me right away. I talked over the phone with him for a bit and was confident he was the correct choice. He knocked out the LSD install and took great care of my truck. Pricing was right inline if not better than anyone local. During that time I spoke to him about my Lexus LX470. He will definitely be the one to do a 4.88 regear and add lockers front and rear later this year. I can't recommend him enough and cannot wait to get 4x4 in there. Thanks again Juan!!! Luis

Juan and his guys did a great job rebuilding the rear end on my truck. They completed the work quickly and for a great price. If you need differential work done, talk to Montalvo's first.
