It's a great gym overall it has just enough equipment and has great amenities it does get a little packed later in the day. It would be cool if their kids daycare was actually open instead of it being used as storage I wouldn't mind paying a little extra a month to be able to have access to it.

At first I thought it was a great gym but now you have way too many youngsters hogging the equipment and just kicking back while others are waiting to use it.

Disappointing. Gym has a wide range of equipment, great hours, lots of extra features, and a wonderful staff.However, management appears to leave a lot to be desired. Specifically, exercise equipment and auxiliary items such as water fountains and sinks do appear to be repaired when they fail. In addition, there has been a continual issue with the hot water in the shower (at best, only lukewarm water available) for at least three weeks. Not very good management if a problem of this sort is allowed to continue for this long.

This gym is amazing and I don’t understand all the hate that the gym is getting. First off I understand the complains how the gym can look a mess especially during their peak hours but I wouldn’t blame their employees. It has lot to do with us the members, I see plenty of you in the evening never putting your weights away. To speak bad on how the gym isn’t clean do your part and help maintain the gym like if you were at your own house. I doubt you would like for the employees to trash your place then go out to the public and say how of a trash person you are. Next I don’t understand the customer service hate. I swear every time I’m in here I’m always greeted with a smile and everyone at the front desk is friendly. I honestly think the negative reviews are those who couldn’t get their way with what they wanted. Like bringing someone who isn’t 18, call the gym if you don’t know their rules everyone quick to compare it to another gym well guess what theirs Golds Gym not the others. Also I would ignore the complaints of the 3 for 3 because I can vouch I had gotten a year for free over a year ago now. They did inform me of the terms when I referred people. I also even went out of my way to read the giant sign in front of the gym the gives the promotion of the 3 for 3 and GUESS WHAT the terms are listed below. lol people will just go out of their way to just whine when they don’t get it there way. I also went out of my way to check the machines to see if they where down or broken and I didn’t see much besides some of the cardio equipment. So to say that the gym has equipment that is always broken is a lie. The one thing I will say tho is that their needs to be more maintenance within the restrooms on the weekend. All in all the gym is amazing, the environment is amazing, the staff is amazing.

Absolutely horrible customer service, always packed. This is light years away from the high quality of Gold's gyms in the 80s-2010 era. Managers never seem to be around when you ask for them, Chris Pineault has got to be the most incompetent manager I ever met. Prime time and no general manager, sales manager or manager period on duty? Great if you want an easy excuse not to address customer complaints during the busiest time of the day. How convenient... Be careful as their referral promotions have crazy clauses that they do NOT disclose verbally that can completely disqualify your credits. Really shady business practices. Stay far away! Join literally any other gym.

Went in to workout and I took my 17 y/o son with me. Come to find out that you are unable to workout as a guest if you are under 18. I’ve never had an issue at any other gym before. I’ll definitely not be going there ever again.

Golds gym standards have declined significantly. Free weights are usually left on the ground, I get it can be the members but you never see a staff checking the weights. Sanitizers and towels are always empty. I don't see how they raised the monthly membership without improving their standards.

Josiah in marketing is the worse. Probably the worse marketing ever (used car sales type guy). Ive been a member of golds since 2017 and I have a multi access plan to all gyms except the ones that fall outside of the franchise locations, which gives me more privileges if not the same as VIP. And I've been able to get a guest in for free for as long as 2017. But in failed attempt to up my membership Josiah said that I am not able to despite having more or equal privileges as a VIP (exclusion of the guest). So I canceled my massage plan with golds, which is an extra $10. They also double charged me on the points too for my guest but we shall see if that changes.

I'd give this gym a negative 10 if I could, so one star it is. The gym is unsanitary, disgusting and the classes are ALWAYS full with members who don't even pay for them, bc the instructors NEVER check the slips. Very few members and STAFF follow the rules to sanitize equipment. The gym is quick to sign you up, but make it HARD to cancel! Andddd DON'T believe their promotions to refer people because even if you do, they find ways around those "promises" to avoid giving out the free years. I've been fighting them for TWO YEARS now to get my free years, and they keep passing me off to different staff. Alex, the main person, doesn't ever return calls or emails as to mistakes made by HIS STAFF!!! If you're thinking of getting a gym membership, AVOID this gym. Promises you, you'd regret it. There's others who are cheaper, nicer, and sanitation is on par.

Horrible customer service when it comes to managing your membership details and billing info. Even if you have everything in writing and the employee himself states over the phone, during three different phone calls, that they ‘forgot’ and they’re ‘extremely sorry’ it still won’t matter when they direct you higher up after lying about getting the issue resolved due to their mistake.Very disappointed and hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else who has to deal with Chris/Alex.

This place used to be so clean. Really sad to see it go downhill with its cleaning. You can tell they don’t vacuum so there’s trash everywhere. This spot next to the trash can hasn’t been cleaned in weeks.

Just got scammed out of 600 dollars for getting a personal trainer for my mom and sister. It was 6 classes each but we asked the manager if we can give them all to my sister he said that’s fine. Weeks later my sister was barely on her 5th one and the manager said the classes are over. We said what about the other 7 said he no that’s that.

manager didn't intentionally lie and scam people, holding their card/bank information hostage while refusing to cancel membership and/or lying to your face about canceling like they do to homeless people at Planet Fitness

Golds Gym has a variety of dumbells.Treadmills are very popular so come early afternoon. No steam room though. Great staff.Always keep an eye on your blood pressure.
