Long overdue review from when I bought my car here in 2022 and was reminded that I really needed to come on here to leave a review as I had another good experience that was hassle free and pleasant. I've been 2 for 2 with good experiences so far and it makes me even more grateful that I purchased my car from Honda of Oxnard. Today I had to come in for some recall fixes to my Honda Passport. It's never a fun task to do but with the DMV and registration fast approaching it had to be taken care of. I called on Friday and a lovely gal helped me on the phone and sensing my urgency she was able to get me an appointment today, Monday. When I rolled up at 9am I was literally done with the initial transaction and out the door by 9:10am. Like seriously how can you beat that? It was a wrong assumption that a dealership wouldn't honor my appointment time because here they totally did. The guy that came out to the car and wrote down the paperwork notes was efficient and nice. I appreciated his hustle and that he didn't keep me waiting out by my car. Specifically I wanted to acknowledge Martin who helped me with the paperwork and getting myself in and out with this appointment. I am not a car girly and I don't like having anything to do with cars. I appreciated that he was professional and clear with what the recalls were, how the process would work, and the details to picking up my car once done. If I asked stupid questions (remember I am not a car girly) he didn't show it, he was super nice and answered my questions without issue. Again, my biggest appreciation was that Martin was clear in his communication and efficient. When he said my car would be done at 3pm, it was done by 3pm, etc. He made what I assumed to be a stressful experience hassle free. Definitely would recommend him when dealing with any of the behind the scenes maintenance/service issues and such. Also rewind to 2022 when I came here to buy my car. Full transparency I didn't want to buy a car and wasn't in the car shopping mood. I loved my previous truck but someone hit me on the freeway and totaled it. So you get why my car shopping attitude wasn't at its best. Despite me begrudgingly coming to the dealership, Santiago approached me right away and was helpful and attentive. He was the right amount of engaged without being pushy, I can't do pushy and he wasn't that. Really he just seemed genuine and helpful throughout my interactions with him. The biggest kudos I could give to him is his patience and professionalism. When I came I brought my dad intentionally. He's a New York Italian, need I say more? He's firm and relentless. I figured any salesman we came across would interact with us for 10 minutes and then just give because they wouldn't think the sale would be worth it lol. My dad doesn't give you a break, he's firm, and wheels and deals. Santiago stuck with us though and no matter how much my dad pushed on certain things he was committed to selling us a car and that's worth 5 stars right there. In the end it paid off, we made the deal and got the car. He was happy and I was happy. Buying a car can be stressful but he made it as easy as possible. I walked out with a brand new car within 2 hours and honestly I love my car so much! I can say based on my two experiences with Honda of Oxnard I would recommend buying a car from this dealership and so far all of the staff that I have dealt with by phone or in person have been helpful and professional. I'm glad I did my business here and I'm hopeful they will maintain this reputation because I'm really happy with my car and the service provided. Thank you Santiago for the sale and Martin for helping me out behind the scenes, both experiences were 5 stars worthy.

I was scared of dealerships because they're known to scam you at a young age, my sale person Cynthia Sosa made it so easy to test drive cars to looking at numbers she made me feel so comfortable and confident. She even helped me at a monthly note I felt comfortable with. Highly recommend my girl Cynthia.

I thought this was a reputable dealership. Not like one those side of the road buy now pay later dealership but a reputable one. Turns out that I was wrong. I've only had my car for 2 days and it needs a new water pump! At no time during my meeting or test drive with Cynthia did she or the dealership disclose that the car is damn near not drivable! I've had to fill the coolant twice already and I've barely drove it 50 miles. Now I'm stuck with it. Anything for the sale though right. Smh. Never again.

I recently had the pleasure of working with a wonderful young lady Damaris and I must say, my entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. I cannot recommend and thank this individual enough for her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine dedication to ensuring all my questions and concerns were answered.

Absolute worst experience I have ever had. Purchased a car that had problems from the start, brought it back to the dealership with the concerns and 3 miles later is almost caught on fire with my kids inside. After escalating to the manager and GM there was no resolution and did not care. The service department kept the care another 5 weeks and when I picked it up was told by Elizabeth in the service department that the tech stated he refused to continue working on it. Ended up leaving after the 4th repair with an aftermarket part and the car drove louder and was told that "aftermarket parts aren't as quiet". Finally got rid of the dump of a car we got from DCH Honda and would absolutely stay away at all costs.

Same story as other reviewers. I wanted a base model with NO overpriced and unnecessary add-ons. Rent is lower in Oxnard than in LA. So I was open to buying from out of town in hopes of saving $$. Unfortunately, DCH Honda of Oxnard insisted on bundling a $3,085 "protection package" of crap that I don't need, including $595 for "Clear Shield" film that is "installed" on the door handles and the door edges to prevent scratches and paint chips. What's amazing is that I live about 45 miles away and they still thought they could win over my business like this. Delusional! Fortunately, there are Honda dealers every 5 miles in the Los Angeles area.

I recently bought a new car from DCH Honda in Oxnard. It was the first new car I've ever bought. I originally came in looking at a used 2022 Honda civic. Our salesman Stephen was very helpful. He was not a pushy car salesman at all, and listened and understood what I was looking for; and how he could help me. I was going through the process of the used car, when another customer was going to buy it. Inevitably I was upset and bummed. The manager Doug came by and helped me out with a brand new(4 miles) Honda civic sport. With financing it was cheaper for me to get a new car than a used car. I was shocked by this and very happy with their customer service and willingness to help. Overall I traded in my truck of 12 years for a new safer car. I can't be more happy. I purchased a package for free oil changes for the life of my cars ownership, free battery replacement, and a 100k mile warranty. I am very happy with my choice and decision to get a new Civic sport. Thank you to the whole team; Stephan, Doug, and Eric on the financing side.

Recently, I had the pleasure of purchasing a car at DCH Honda of Oxnard, and I must say my experience was excellent. Nathan was my salesman, and I couldn't be happier with his service. He's a great man, very polite, and didn't rush or push me into making a decision. Nathan was refreshingly straightforward, a quality not always found in other salespeople. The entire staff at DCH Honda of Oxnard was helpful and made my car-buying process smooth. Unlike some other dealerships, there were no smart remarks or high-pressure tactics. Overall, my experience was highly satisfying, and I would recommend DCH Honda of Oxnard, especially if you have the opportunity to work with Nathan. Thanks to the entire team for a positive buying experience!

If you're looking to buy a car...new, used, doesn't matter! Just GO see Daniel Ybanez at DCH Honda in Oxnard. You WILL NOT be disappointed! Start to finish, he gave me incredible support with professionalism and experience shining through. In addition, he was HONEST (yes! An HONEST car salesman!) and never rushed the process. He went above and beyond to meet my specific needs, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome (a car i really love) or more grateful that I was able to work with him to get it all done very quickly and painlessly. He will make you glad you brought your business his way.

Horrible customer service. I went in knowing what I wanted. Down payment and check in hand to close a deal of course within a reasonable price. First of all, the young man who helped me was uninterested in selling me a car.. test drove the car and he was more interested in texting than talking to me about the car. Nonetheless I had already done research and knew the details. Once we went to talk numbers, I disclosed I had a POA that allowed me to buy the car on behave of my husband. The manager informed me they couldn't honor the document but they had the option of fed exing documents to my husband. Which I under if that's a way to protect them self okay. We can do that. I waited a while for anyone to even come back and check on me, the sales man was outside on his phone chilling. Moving on, before getting me number to make sure the car was within our budget. The sales man asked for my husband social to "verify his identity". They ran his credit before giving us any number etc, and put a ding on his score. He asked me all the info to run numbers, leaves and comes back asking me for a picture of the check which made no sense because I still had no numbers to go with to make sure it was within my budget. So I asked him why he needed to see the check because the check didn't affect the number for the sale. He said it was to very the check was good, and again I'm not even sure I'm going to even buy the car because I don't know how much after all fees it will be. He said he was going to see what he could do and came back with numbers finally!. And no I'd didnt show him the check. After declining all the features, they still wanted to sell us the clear shield that "they add to all the car for protection". Selling price on line was 34,500 after already being lowered. I told them if they did 34,000 we had a deal, he told me no that was the lowest. And so I said no. Only because I knew how much I wanted to spend and the $600 for a unnecessary accessory was a little over what I had in my budget. Today I look at the car online and it's lowered to $33,700 lol what a joke. Needless to say dch Honda isn't looking to make any sales.

Requested a certified vehicle for test drive and hopefully purchase. We get to the car and the battery was DEAD. The young man was fumbling to charge the battery so another man came out to help and instruct him on how it works. As soon as the car was running the dash slowly started lighting up at which I was assured it was only resetting... As the drive continued a MULTITUDE of lights came on screaming alerts then the tire and break system started alerting so I made the executive decision to drive back after 2 blocks due to the SAFETY concern, the novice salesman didn't see an issue with driving as all of these warnings were alerting and told me I could continue if I didn't mind "the noise" ***Turns out a piece was MISSING from this CERTIFIED vehicles battery which is what their mechanic had concluded and conveyed to me .... AND we were out driving it. Train your beginner salesman on product, safety and awareness. Happy to be one more customer to express their dissatisfaction with overall service at this location.

Well after calling MULTIPLE times regarding my gap insurance (that they added when I bought not one but TWO cars the same day) because I'm ready to pay off my car and the bank said to check and see if I have money coming back from it. I doubt that there is BUT I have called 8 times and been transferred over to the finance dept only to have to leave a message (4) times and several more where the girl said she would walk over to make sure someone was there and give them the message since I never get a call back or else no one in finance answers their phone. This much I can tell you, we are looking to trade in the very same cars we bought from Honda DCH 5 years ago and guess where we WONT be going to trade them in?!!!!
